I spend more time grooming the cat than the cat does
Arrived Furiday! I have been really looking forward to this grooming kit. Max is a cat who loves to be brushed. Tap the brush on a surface and he comes running faster than you can say “tuna.” Max already has a Furminator and a rectangle metal slicker brush with a fur ejector button.Of the new Catit brushes, he loves both slicker brushes, seems to enjoy the comb (this morning while I was brushing him he was rubbing his chin on the comb which was standing in the holder).The clippers are nice; I like the slight angle of the blades. I used to clip our birds’ nails and when we adopted Max, I began playing with his toes off the bat so he now associates nail clipping time with toe massages.I like the slicker brushes, especially the wire one (it’s smaller than my old metal slicker brush, making it easier to use, especially on his chest). I wish they had the fur ejector like the rectangle one. I also like the storage container and that the lid doubles as a pail to hold the fur. I used to either grab a small garbage can or pile the fur as I brushed Max. I’d have to keep a close eye on him as he’d try to lick the shed fur.Max is hesitant about the rubber brush. I’m not sure if it’s the smell or how it feels. I’ll continue to use it sparingly and see if he gets used to it. I’m also leaving it out in his toy bin for now.The kit may be a little spendy, but I see it (except for the clippers which may eventually get dull) as a one-time purchase. I’ll continue using the furminator with these brushes.

All these tools for $40 bucks? Yes?! The only reason I took a chance on purchasing this longhair set was because this is a good brand and Iâve purchased other things from them before. For this quality, I think they should be $15-$25 individually. Especially considering the Furminator is around $40 and has nothing on these- cat hates it and it doesnât work. Conversely, with this Catit set, my medium longhair cat loves (gasp) all the items. He actually jumped on my kitchen stool and begged for more. First time ever. I think itâs because compared to other items on the market, these are gentler on delicate skin⦠I tried these on my own arm. And hereâs the kicker. These removed more hair than anything else Iâve used!

great for sassy long hair cats
I recently adopted an elderly cat with long thin fur and I noticed it’s more delicate than my other long hair cats. I bought this because her front fur kept getting matted. she’s super sassy and will only let us pet her when she wants so we’ve been trying to maximize the allowed time to care for her. the pin roll brush has been the best since with a few tugs the matts are off and she’s not aiming to kill me.

Great Tool Set, needs improvements
This missed being 5-star by virtual of some seemingly obvious features they missed. I’m kinda hoping Catit reads these as their web site offers no handy way to give suggestions and feedback.I love the container, the idea that the lid is a “fur bucket” while grooming, nice selection of tools, and a good price compared to buying this all separately.Misses however:–The black foam that holds the tools will probably “shed” over the life of the kit. The molded tool area on the bottom should probably use more durable materials.–The lid should lock to the bottom so the entire kit can be palmed from the top. Something as simple as a tight twist-to-lock or push tabs would do.–Like many of their other products, the bottom needs rubber feet or better the rubber o-ring style foot on the bottom to keep it from slipping on smooth surfaces (really surprised they missed this based on their food bowl and fountain, which I own)–The comb needs to be smaller. I have a big male cat (13+ lbs.) and the comb is far too big and makes it not very useful for combing the chin, chest, and top of the head. On my smaller (9 lb.) cat, it’s even more of a problem. The teeth on the comb need to be a bit shorter and 25% fewer teeth to shorten-up the comb’s length. Honestly, this looks more like a dog-sized comb, or for larger longhair cats.I generally love Catit’s products, this one just needs a little work compared to their food and water products. I also like it being self-contained; we’re still considering a second one so we can have one upstairs and one downstairs so there is always a grooming kit handy to remind us.

Exceptional Product
This is an exceptional cat brush set for long haired cats. Itâs easy to use and we line the top with a bag and utilize it for the hair that is removed. My cats no longer have any knots or nats in their hair. Canât recommend this enough! Thank you catit

It has everything you could need in one place.I think the quality is extremely good.My cat has let me brush him with all of it. I haven’t used the nail clippers yet.Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone even if you have a dog.

It’s amazing
I and my cat, Otis, love this little kit. I love it because it has all the tools I need to ensure that Otis is looking his best (and reducing shedding for allergies and hairballs). I also love how durable the case is, usually my cat can open most things, and with the grooming brushes, I was worried he’d try to eat them. The case holds up well to his shenanigans and is apparently also tasty (according to Otis). Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to properly care for their cat’s coat.

J’ai une chatte Sacré de Birmanie de 6 ans à poils très longs qui a toujours rechigné, râlé, feulé, hurlé et devenait même agressive quand je la brossais avec une carde normale .J’en étais arrivée à ne quasiment pas la brosser car c’était pour elle un moment stressant, et avec du recul je pense que la brosse que j’utilisais depuis toujours lui faisait mal (bcp de poils très longs mais très fins, des vrais cheveux d’ange mais tendance à noeuds si pas brossés régulièrement) et était un moment de douleur plus que de plaisir pour elle. Mais quand je voyais chaque jours les touffes de poils par terre, malgré que ces derniers temps je la “peignait” littéralement avec un peigne à cheveux normal tous les jours ça ne suffisait pas.Alors oui le kit à son prix, mais la boite contient vraiment tous les accessoires nécessaires à l’entretien des poils, noeuds, sous poils, et même des ciseaux à griffes. Si vous achetez tous les accessoires à part vous payerez plus cher. Et je rajoute que chaque brosse, peigne…. dans ce kit est vraiment de très bonne qualité. N’hésitez pas !Moi je suis heureuse car à peine je lui montre la boite elle me suit pour se faire brosser et ronronne durant le brossage, et pour l’habituer encore plus, elle a le droit à sa friandise préférée après la séance. Maintenant c’est une routine quotidienne, un moment de câlins entre nous et c’est juste génial !Sincèrement je ne regrette pas mon achat. Le kit existe aussi avec différents accessoires pour poils courts pour info.Merci CATIT pour ce kit très utile mais aussi très qualitatif.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung und liegen gut in der Hand. Kämmt super das weiche Fell und holt auch einiges aus dem Fell raus. Der Haken funktioniert einwandfrei und holt super Knoten heraus. Es ist wirklich alles dabei was zur Fellpflege beiträgt. Unser Kater liebt die verschiedenen Bürsten und den Kamm. Die Zinken rollen mit und ziepen nicht. Ich finde das Set und die Preisleistung super.
