As an avid owner of things to make my kitties happy, I was excited to try this window cat perch. The setup is straightforward: a cordless foldable window hammock that uses strong suction cups and a sturdy metal frame to support the hammock. The materials feel durable, and the bolster provides a comfy, inviting spot for my cats to nap and watch the world go by while I work at my desk. Surprisingly strong
Iâve never had much luck with devices that stick to tile/glass with suction, because they always fail at the most inopportune time. So far, however, this cat bed has held up just fine for the few days Iâve had it. I set it up on the sliding glass door to our patio. However, one thing I never really thought of beforehand is how the cat bed would work with fancy curtains that need to be opened and closed on a frequent basis.The cat bed is fairly plush and comfortable for the ccat.The instructions for assembly werenât bad, but kind of left some things to figure out, like how exactly to slide the bed cover over the metal frame. It looks like it wouldnât fit, but it does after you give it a few wiggles.

Couldn’t assemble
Opening this up I was initially excited. The bed itself is soft and has a nice 3-D mesh pocket underneath where you would zip in the frame. My box came with the 4 needed suction cups and one loose spare. Problems started and ended when I tried to assemble the two halves of the frame. The frame is comprised of two U-shaped halves. One half has male ends that fit inside the female ends on the other. One the product I received, one of the female ends was narrower than the other, as if the edge was rolled inward. Both male ends could fit into one of the female ends but neither fits in the other. It’s not just a snug, but quite obstructed, chipping paint and shaving off metal from the opposing parts. I can’t speak to how well this will attach to windows or otherwise functions as that all requires an assembled frame.

Decent perch but no dimensions listed. Unable to mount medium perch on my 20 1/4 inch windows.
Easy yo assemble and sturdy. Unfortunately the sizes are only listed as small, medium and large. No width dimensions. I ordered a medium and it is too wide for my windows. I will use it in the summer on sunroom sliding doors but until then I wonât know how well it adheres to the widow. The window I intended to mount the medium on is 20 1/4 inches wide. The perch is about 3 1/4 inches too wide. There are no dimensions mentioned in the listing. Perhaps if I had ordered a small it might have fit but Iâm unsure of that because of the lack of dimensions. Itâs a nice perch just wonât fit on any of the windows in my house.

My kittens love it, and it was easy to set up.
I was so excited for this perch to arrive as I have two 10-week-old kittens I have raised from day one when the mom abandoned them. I opened the package and found several pieces that would need to be put together. Thankfully, there were very clear instructions included along with an Allen wrench for assembly. You need no other tools. I got to work and was done pretty quickly. The suction cups are very strong and make this entire perch very sturdy. My kittens were immediately interested and got comfortable with it right away. They have now discovered there is another world outside of our house and have enjoyed watching the lizards and birds so far. The cushion is zipped around a stability bar to keep it in place. It can be removed to wash and replaced easily. This cat bed/perch is currently listed for under $30 and is a fantastic find and amazing value.

Easy to put together and looks very nice!
So far so good!It was easy to put together. And I am a person who struggles with putting things together and need very specific step by step instructions! If I can do it, anyone can!It seems very sturdy. I hope the suction cups hold up, they are the only thing holding up the hammock.My cats are not yet interested in it. My windows are low to the ground so maybe thatâs why. The hammock is so soft! If it was my size, Iâd definitely be comfy cozy!I put my cat on it for a photo, but she walked off almost immediately.I am hopeful theyâll warm up to it and if they do, Iâll report back!

Decent cat bed
This was incredibly easy to assemble and the suction is pretty strong. We have a blind cat but he still loves to be at the windows soaking up the sun, this is a great way of giving him what he needs while saving our poor blinds:) I definitely recommend this!!

Large bed with good suction
So far, it is a nice bed with a strong suction to the window. It came with a lot of parts which is initially overwhelming, but it was easy to put together and took about 10 minutes. Itâs really large too – great for big cats like mine.The cover zips right off so you can throw it into the wash and it looks nice, feels soft. The reason why Iâm giving it 4 stars not 5 is because I think it needs an additional brace underneath the bed against the window. Iâm just not comfortable with the fact that it could fall off the window at any time. But it hasnât and has worked good so far.
