SilverVine
Silvervine is a plant native to the mountainous regions of eastern Asia. It has two compounds to attract cats — actinidine and dihydroactinidiolide. When exposed to silvervine, cats enter a euphoric state that involves behaviours like rolling, chin and cheek rubbing, meowing, drooling and licking, pretty much like catnip would do on cats. SilverVine is more potent due to the presence of the two cat attractants as opposed to catnip’s one. Pet owners are finding that silvervine is the perfect way to get a lounging cat up and moving.

Catnip is a perennial herb native to Europe and Central Asia. Catnip contains one compound (nepetalactone) that attracts cats. Not worth the time or money
5 out of the 11 reviews I read they said their cat showed no interest. What I donât understand is one person said their cat wasnât interested with the stick but gave it 4 stars. ð¤ So just because overall of over1800 it shows 4 stars. So if someone says their cat wasnât interested but gave 4 stars, donât rely on that. I have 2 cats and before giving them each one I scraped the stick to get a stronger smell. I then gave them their own stick, they both sniffed them and walked away. I left them out and would scrap them now and then but they laid in the same place for 2 weeks without any interest from my cats. So I consider them worthless. These were suggested to me by a person that said she was a cat expert and said all cats totally love them. OK. Itâs like me saying every person loves spinach and sauerkraut. WRONG!! You decide for yourself. Every cat is different just like every person is different. Good luck if you buy them.

Try a stick from the outside first….
Received these and was disappointed by them because I felt the were over priced for what I got.The cats do like to play with them and chew on them, BUT I got a stick from our yard and cut it to the same size and the cats play with it just as much.These are safe for them to chew on and they do play with them a lot, however if you have a dog they will want to play with them too and because they are softer than a stick they can break them easily.Long story short, if you are a cat only household this probably will be an okay option, but maybe start by just getting sticks from the outside and peal off the bark.My picture show them on the right and a stick from outside on the left. The cats enjoy both about the same.

They love ripping these apart. I’m using them as an option to destructive behavior I’m having with one cat having pika and anxiety in other cats. I’ve had cats in the past that wanted nothing to do with these but this group loves them!

Just give them cardboard
The cats are barely interested, it’s another thing they push around the floor but my one cat that chews on everything, wood furniture and cardboard boxes mostly, didn’t care about these sticks. I saw a little wear and tear on them appear every couple nights but doesn’t change the fact the cat would rather chew on a metal pipe, no joke.
