Good quality & value
I have bought numerous cat scratching posts over the years and I believe this one is the best quality for the cost. It is not tippy because it has a wide, weighted base. It is tall enough for adult cats to stretch up & scratch. The rope scratcher comes in 2 parts, so I will be able to swap them after my cats wear out the top portion. Assembly was quick & easy. My 5 year-old cat doesn’t play was much anymore, but my 1 and a half year-old cat loves the toys included with the scratcher.

PURRRFRCT STARTER SISAL SCRATCHING POST W/TOYS
I ordered this for my kittens when they were 8 and 11 weeks old and they went absolutely bonkers over it! Its a great disallowed scratching post, with added no balls at the base and toys at the top for extra enrichment. Kittens need a lot of toys and play, along with opportunities for stretching. This scratching post has all of that and is a good value and price. When we first got it, my kittens enjoyed jumping to the very top and playing with the toys like that. Now that they are a month older and larger, its harder for them to balance on tve very top, lol. Its still got a lot of use out of it, but does seem like a perfect starter option for kittens. Other models may be better suited for adult cats, and this is very useful for kittens and adult cats. I highly recommend this cat toy, and ive noticed its often at a discounted price so I doubly recommend this! Its a fantastic value and my cats often play and interact with it

This cat scratching post is nicely made, easy to assemble, and seems to be good quality overall. However, my cats just don’t seem interested in it. At first, they rolled the balls in the base and swatted at a few of the dangling feathers, then ignored it. As for using it as a scratching post, for whatever reason, they don’t use it much and prefer the used posts on their tree. I will try some catnip spray to see if I can entice them to use this post instead. May have nothing to do with this post… I may just have “picky” cats.

Exceeded my expectations.
Extremely sturdy and tall. Just the right size for two grown cats. They love it! We got it to stop them from destroying the sheets and mattress any further. It has actually worked! They are scratching on the post now instead. It looks good, the price was reasonable, and the kitties are enjoying it. I think it is also the right size for my room.

I couldn’t put it together fast enough
Durable, a kitten must! Especially for those itchy toes! I’ve had this for about 2 months now, as well as my kittens, and its still going strong. When I was putting it together, they were already playing with it. One of our kittens likes to perch on top and even at 6 months its sturdy to hold her . Sometimes we play the tree on its side and the cats act like its brand new.

Only for kittens due to balance issues
This is good for kittens. I have 2 grown cats and when they really get into it, they knock it over. The bottom of the toy is not heavy enough to handle more than a small cat or a kitten. Also the balls at the bottom of the toy hardly move. The cat will push on the ball and it might go an inch if you’re lucky. When I tried to push it, I hardly got all 4 balls to move. My cat will try, then gives up. Even if you get this for a kitten, you may want to find a way to make the bottom heavier sin e kittens like to climb.

This is a really neat little scratch post. It’s surprisingly sturdy considering the base feels really light, but all 3 of my cats (one small, one medium, one large) can scratch against it without it even lifting or threatening to wobble. I love the fact that you can put the dangling cross section on the top or in the middle, depending on your cats’ playstyle. Alternatively, it’s easy to switch up and therefore offer a new angle for an old enrichment item. The platform has ping pong balls that are in tracks embedded in the wooden base which adds interest to the scratching post. The sisal is attached well without any signs of glue or loose staples. It was easy to assemble in less than an hour with the included tools and instructions. It’s been a hit in my multi-cat household.

This works well for the intended purpose. My one cat in particular makes regular use of this post. Unfortunately, she also like rolling around on the base and gets her collar tags stuck in the ball track. She has a breakaway collar, so it doesn’t hurt her but she keeps losing her collar in the track. This probably won’t be an issue for all cats, ours just particularly likes rolling around and rubbing against things so it is her particular habits that cause this issue.Otherwise, it seems well built, fairly sturdy and not likely to tip over. I like that the base is a single piece, not a 2 half thing like many posts have. This makes it much sturdier. As for the toys at the top, the batting puff and the balls in the ring, it depends on the cat as to how much interest that will be for them. I thought my one cat would be more inclined to play with the toys as she is quite playful but so far she hasn’t shown a whole lot of interest in them. That said it doesn’t really hurt to have them their, aside from the collar catching issue.

For all intents and purposes, this is a good scratcher. All the toy options are pretty great. I like how you can decide where to put the tree portion so it can grow with a kitten. Couldn’t really see it in action bc my cat didn’t use it….my children did ð¤¦ð»ââï¸
