Cut my cats ear
I bought this to help my cat and I measured it to make sure it fit well. I put it on him and left for less then 5 minutes to come back with the ball bloody.His ear got caught in the latch (I secured it properly, he was walking) , and as a cat, he couldn’t get free and yanked his ear. So now he has a notch on his ear.How could this even be possible? It’s a serious issue cause now my cat has a permanent scar from this that was supposed to be safe.

My cat hates the helmet and the silicone feet covers. It’s too traumatic for him.

Works as intended
From a pet groomers standpoint this muzzle is great for grooming cats that like to bite! Although after a few uses the clips are starting to wear out and can easily move so the muzzle ends up becoming easy for the cat to remove. But I love this muzzle and itâs saved me from many bites!The mitten part of the package is good to put on paws of cats that try to climb to escape out of the bath, but they are easily shaken off by the cats.

Clip to hold it closed broke.
Unfortunately one of the two clips that hold it closed broke when I used it so it didn’t remain closed and cat pulled her head out. If that had not broken, I believe I could have cut my cat’s nails safely. I’ll have to see if I can use some other way to keep it closed ie. velcro. It did fit well.
