Best purchase ever. Saved my fingers from getting bit.
Best thing I’ve ever bought for my cat. She HATES water with a passion, but she has issues with cleaning her butt so she needs a bath to help clean her so she doesn’t get infections. I do have the pet wipes, but it only does so much. So if you have a kitty that bites when giving baths or even cutting nails, this works very well an i highly recommend it. The large fit her perfectly with finger space between her neck and the head piece. Goes on fairly easy even though she is a longer haired cat and it stayed on the duration of the bath an comes off easy as well. Cat hair does get stuck to the Velcro but i just rinsed it under water, rubbed it clean, dried it immediately and it works just fine after doing that.

I have a severely obese and irritable long haired cat that hates being groomed or handled beyond petting. She has bitten me in the past. Thanks to this kit, I was able to give her a shave and trim her nails without fear. She is too fat to groom herself, and refuses to exercise, so I have to shave her and bathe her regularly for her health. This product has made a difficult job much less scary.The fit looks too small at first, but wound up being just right.The velcro is durable and high quality, but works a little too well, as it picked up some loose fur.Stays put once properly applied.Cats can breathe easily, no safety concerns when used correctly.

Pretty good
I have two cats. One is easier to bathe then the other. The other one we have to burrito wrap her with a large tshirt, if not she will fight, claw and bite you.I put her in the bubble which stayed on the entire time which was nice because I didn’t have to think about her biting me. It also kinda confused them so they seemed more docile too.The mittens are nice. They do come off after a bit so just make sure you strap them on really tight. Even though they come off they do help prevent the clawing or trying to get out by clawing at your shirt. So overall even though they do come off sometimes I still would rather have them then not.If you have a very aggressive cat that just off the bat will claw and attack then maybe these products aren’t right for you. Your cat needs to be atleast somewhat tolerant to be able to get these items on in the first place.I still had to fight to control my one cat even with these on so keep in mind that these just help prevent them for hurting you and doesn’t all right just turn them into a tolerant noodle.

Do not trust the booties!
This worked to keep me from getting bitten, but the booties kept coming off no matter how tight you put them. This caused my cat to try to slap the helmet off and get her claws stuck in the breathing holes and panic, leading to injuries to her nails.

My Maine Coon cat hates people touching her. Her idea of affection is to go in the other room. If you want to hold her she starts growling, and soon she will bite and scratch. Her trick is to make you put her down.So she had huge clumps in her hair that she would not let me clip. I bought this item that includes a hinged plastic ball with air holes, and four rubber booties. Everything fastens together with the attached velcro straps.The booties were extremely difficult to put on, and they came off immediately. Throw them away.However, the plastic ball was significantly helpful. It kept my cat from biting, but more significantly it confused my cat enough so that she was calmer than usual. With another person’s help, we put a towel around my cat’s body and immobilized her slightly. In a short amount of time I was able to use cordless electric clippers (very good ones, almost silent and don’t hurt the skin), and I cut away the clumps as quiickly as I could. I have had worse experiences trying to groom my cat without the plastic ball, so I think it was a help. This item was worth buying.

Success at the vet!
My cats have gone to the same vet clinic for most of their 13 year lives. This year my cats were assigned to the new vet that just joined the office. Prior vet’s noted that my (fixed!) make cat was a fraidy cat but beyond that described him as sweet for dental and blood work. Well the new vet seems terrified of him and requested restraints and pulling him 90 minutes prior to his appointments going forward. I ordered one set of this type of product that met with a delivery failure end. This one arrived safe and sound, well packed in a sturdy box that I will now use to store this set in. I put it on my fierce some fraidy cat for five minutes a day for two days prior to the appointment. I was able to put it on him at the vet with minimal fuss. She did his blood test and asked for a link to the product to have one in the office. I like that the hinge is at the top and the part around the neck prevents choking the feline wearing it. I ordered a medium as my male cat is on the smaller size (8lbs) but it fit so snuggly that I doubt I could get it onto his litter mate sister who is a pound bigger. Should the vet decide that my friendly female feline is also terrifying, I’ll order the large size for her. The rounded boots stayed on yet allowed my male cat to walk without too much trouble though I don’t think he was fond of them. He shook each paw high in the air with each step and the boots stayed on. I recommend this product to anyone who needs sometime this. My vet clearly liked it but I think I might need a new vet who doesn’t fear declawed cats quite so much.

Maybe try the smaller version
It got an extra star because of idea of it alone. Great idea! Loved it right away. Unfortunately after a few mins the cat gave up acting defeated and raised his little paw in the air and brought it back down in swiping motion- as if he knew exactly how to get his dignity back! That dome slipped off so quick it flew across the room! When they say itâs adjustable they might mean if the cat is too big for it, the Velcro could possibly have a tightening purpose. But if it fits and leaves no gap when itâs closed⦠thereâs no way to tighten it.
