Seems to work.
I am pretty sure this stuff actually helps minimize litter box odor. You don’t need to use much so it lasts a long time. The only thing that is a bummer is that if you put your hand right in the tub, or put too much in the litter box, you are going to get some black smudges. I use about 1/3 of a laundry capful every 2 or 3 days. My container has so far lasted over six months. I just ordered more.

Great litter box deodorizer
This litter deodorizer does a great job helping to control litter box odor. Add about a quarter cup to the litter when you change it and then just sprinkle a little bit in the litter box every time you scoop the litter.This product is charcoal so it is black. If you are bothered by black charcoal granules in the litter, do not purchase it.It has a slightly gritty feel to the hand which isn’t unexpected for a charcoal based item. It is all natural ingredients and I love knowing it is completely safe for my cats.

The cats ignore the difference in color and feel and use the boxes as normal. Cuts down on smell. A little pricey.

While this stuff is a lot pricier than I would prefer, it works incredibly well. Just shake a little into the litter box, mix it, and let it work its magic. One of my favorite things is that the product itself has no scent. Iâve tried other products that did, and they would give me headaches or burn my nose. Highly recommend!

This works great for automatic litter boxes. Just sprinkle about a Tbls in the receptacle every day and it really minimizes the odor without having to use perfumed deodorizers.
