Human Approved, Cat Disapproved
I got the large size and it works for my biggest boy, a very muscular orange and white who comes in at just under 13 pounds. I tested this wrap on four of my 17 cats (don’t want them all to get wise to my tricks and disappear around the house). This wrap worked great on Eddie, my most aggressive cat. She actually did best out of the four and didn’t even try to bite me while I clipped her front nails. It took about thirty seconds to get them. Diana, one of my more chaotic kittens (she’s a year old, but still), cried but tolerated her nail clipping. Usually, I can’t get hers done at all. She zoomed out of the wrap as soon as I let her. Picasso, my little goiter of a cat, was completely offended and tried to fight. Forty seconds later, his pupils were as wide as they could go and I should probably be afraid to sleep tonight. The LOOK he gave me! And Frodo, my big boy, was unhappy about his nails but purred the whole thirty seconds. So, he likes being squeezed, maybe? This wrap seems to be pretty effective at giving you the few precious seconds you need to do whatever thing you’re trying to do. Getting them to hold still long enough to wrap them is tough. And it will take some practice to springroll them tightly. But I have a feeling that once you get it down, it will be a breeze. The pattern was cute. I got the pink Happy Kitty pattern, which has Asian kitties (perhaps Japanese, but I don’t want to assume). I am very partial to that kind of art and it just tickles me to look at it. The material is thick enough that you can’t really feel sharp claws. I wouldn’t trust teeth not to go through, though. It does stick to itself very well. I have no idea what the material is exactly. It’s soft and not sticky like glue. I would almost equate it to velvet, but I don’t think that’s it.I definitely recommend this product, even if you don’t use it often. It’s nice to have and honestly I wish I’d gotten it sooner. As a matter of fact, I’m going to order several more in the three sizes because I always have some critter that could use a good burrito-ing.

Sorcery That Prevents Injury To Animal and Their Person For Medical and Hygiene Care
This is an XL for cats/dogs up to 25 lbs. Really it is less about the weight and more about the length because when they are stretched out they have to fit so they are encased. Especially cats because those back claws can be dangerous. So I have three wonderful rescues but two have neurological issues from birth. The born pure white one turned as she grew older and became to my disillusionment a mostly orange cat. ARGH!! Anyone who has or knows someone who has or has come across one or watches videos of them knows about ORANGE cats. Well mine, Wonky, is the sweetest orange cat except she jumps at any and every thing. She would never intentionally scratch or bite me but in her jumping the nails just happen to dig deep and draw blood. She is. psychotic also about having her nails cut or eyedrops put in so she had to be sedated. My vet and I are not fans of this but we tried wrapping her in towels and using Hawk gloves and three attendants and me for her nails but it was tragic for everyone. Thus, I went online to try to find alternatives to drugs.Low and behold I found these cat wraps. Could they possibly work for my Wonky. I was skeptical but ordered my first one. I say my first one because I have purchased well over 14 (10 were for my vet to use in her practice). I brought it to Wonky’s appointment when she developed an eye infection and her vet tech had never seen one but my goodness once wrapped Wonky had her defenses down. Yes she growled like a grizzly and she jerked whenever we went in for the eye check or drops, and yes she tried to bring her head into the wrap like a turtle but she was also purring and cooperative. We put drops in and for the next 10 days my husband and I put drops in her eyes using the wrap three times a day. When next we returned my vet was back and fell in love with the wrap. Hence the reason they now have 10 of their own. They too love them and use them for dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, etc. When I saw this newest one I quickly ordered it due to it coming in an extra large size. Wonky and Wobble Bobbles are 14 and 15 pounds, respectively. They are also long bodied. I used Wobbles for the video and she was not pleased to once again be the test feline since she allows me begrudgingly to cut her nails as long as the liquid treat is ready afterwards. She growled throughout and when my son, who she hates, stopped in the room she tried to bolt while I was filming. Anyway, she fit in quite well and it held very firmly. It self-sticks from the miracle fabric that it is and it is such a humane way to bondage your cat for necessary medical and hygiene care. I cannot recommend these enough. Since using them I have not once sustained a blood letting at the hands of my precious cats.Pricing is very reasonable for this magical, nay, sorcery material that is safe for both animal and their person.

Large, secure, and great for training kittens
This wrap is much larger than I expected, and that turned out to be a good thing. I used to have a smaller one that my cat could easily escape from, but this larger size keeps her securely wrapped. The material grips onto itself well, so it stays in place once wrapped. The printed design is also really cute. Iâve been using it while training my kitten to get used to brushing her teeth every night, and itâs made things so much easier. Itâs easy to use, feels like good quality, and the price seems fair. Iâd recommend going with the largest size even if your cat is small, since it helps with getting a firm, comfortable wrap.

Soft, Well-Made Cat Wrap
I received the Large size with the kitty pattern to try on my cats. The design is adorable, and the wrap is very soft â the inside has a microfiber-like feel that helps prevent slipping, which is great when dealing with squirmy cats. While the size fits three of my cats, my other cat is close to 20 lbs, and so the XL size would probably have worked better for him. If in doubt, size up.The biggest challenge, of course, is getting your cat to stay still long enough to wrap them! I havenât been successful yet, even with my smaller cat, but I plan to try again when theyâre more relaxed or sleepy. This wrap feels sturdy and well-made, and I really wish Iâd had it when I was giving meds to two of my cats in the past. Even if you canât do a perfect “burrito wrap,” this would still offer more control and protection than the towels I used before.Overall, it’s a useful item â especially for pet owners who need to administer medication or grooming â but be mindful of sizing and your cat’s cooperation level!
