Cute contraption
Super easy to use. I have a small puppy and it works well for her. Initially we had it on backwards but once we fixed it she was snug. I like that it had a Velcro strap to cross the back to make her feel secure and she canât wiggle out of it.

Easy Cat Grooming
I measured my two cats to make sure I ordered the right size (small). The XS would have been too little, even though they fall within the weight range. With two people, itâs easy to get our craziest kitty into the harness, and then heâs pretty docile for grooming. We hang it from a portable chin-up bar that goes in a doorway. Note: Apparently, the safety strap that goes around the middle only comes on the XS. There wasn’t one on our small.

The item it self was a good product. But to get a cat strapped in it is another story….

Better for small dogs
The material is good but my cat got out of it. The size I picked did not work for my cat. The front was big and thatâs hire he was able to get out even with the Velcro. Iâm not sure if going up in size would have helped.

Not For Strong Wiggly Cats
It worked for about 5 minutes then my cat escaped. He’s an average sized 12lb cat. I got him back into it and then put the cone of shame on him to slow him down. There are velcro tabs on the inside to hold the flaps together, but they barely stick, allowing for a gap in the front that he could leverage his escape. I did try it both ways – facing they way they recommend (front end for front, back end for back) and the opposite way but it didn’t matter. Got his nails kind of trimmed but not the medicine I needed to dab on his wound to the back of his leg (not pictured). It seemed less calming and more of stunned silence coupled with the “WTFdeathglare” featured in the picture. If you have a strong wiggly cat, I do not recommend.

“What’s in the box?”
I searched carefully on the product page and couldn’t find a listing of “what’s in the box”. This was the least expensive sling I could find. All the others included nail clippers and other items which I didn’t want.I could find no clear indication anywhere if the hanging hooks and straps were included or the only item was the sling.Decided I can improvise the straps and hooks if needed because didn’t want to spend more. Pleasantly surprised, the straps and hooks are included with the sling. (Check the photo.)The cats don’t like it. But getting a cat into the sling and trimming the nails is MUCH faster than struggling nail by nail while trying to hold the cat.Another commenter mentioned the animal escaping.I may follow up with a head cover purchase. One cat REALLY didn’t like it and tried to scratch and bite while in the sling. She escaped once. Then I put a large sock over her head. That calmed her so she didn’t even try to escape again and I was able to complete the nail trimming easily because she stopped struggling. The other cat just complained about hanging in the sling but she didn’t try to scratch or bite.Depending on your cat, if you need this to trim nails, you might be wise to consider a head cover too.

No more anxiety
My little terrier-mix would never let me trim his names. Now, I put him in the harness and hang him on the shower curtain rod. He doesnât panic now and lets me trim his nails. Good purchase!

Getting Gracie’s Nails trimmed every month has always been a nightmare experience. Even with professional groomers she is extremely vicious. As you can see in this picture she is very calm! A friend fed her a liquid treat while I cut her nails with not an ounce of resistance! This product is a life saver!
