Comfortable, Easy to Use, Good Quality
My cat Chico has had to go through a bunch of different cones in the past because he figures out how to bend them backwardsâand since heâs pretty chunky around the neck, they end up being too tight..but this cone really was a game changer with his recent surgery! The blue padding around the neckline is super cushiony, and I love how the adjustable strap since it makes it super easy to fit to your own cat. Not to mention itâs super easy to take on/off, and does not bend but is sturdy enough to keep his wounds clean/prevent him from licking!

Super comfy for the cat
This collar is excellent. Such a great alternative to the hard plastic one from the vet. Itâs long and sturdy enough to still do the job and provide sufficient protection but way more comfortable for the cat. Itâs easy to put on and off and super easy to clean. It dries fast and I even used the hairdryer to speed it up. Super durable. It was well worth the money. My cat was very happy with this collar.

Light and Transparent
I tried five other cones for my 11lb cat. This is the only one she can’t get off. What makes this one different from the other velcro ones is that this also has a drawstring at the neck so you can fit it to your cat’s neck. I also like that this is very light so she doesn’t have to struggle holding her head up. It prevents her from licking, and it cleans easily. It’s soft, so when she runs into something, it just bends as she walks past. What I like the most is that she still has some peripheral vision, or at least I think she does, because of the light mesh. The heavy, solid color ones are sometimes cuter, but who cares about cute when you need something that is easy to use, stays on, and doesn’t break the bank.The downside

This is a great cone. It’s flexible but stays put. It’s got a nice padded area around the neck, but he can still see through the mesh. I kept it fairly loose and he wasn’t able to take it off (although I will admit, he didn’t try very hard). Looks like it’s durable enough and will last a long time; the velcro is also very strong. A very good purchase.

Too long
The cone was too long for my cat to able to eat. It should be at least an inch shorter. And the blue part actually ends up blocking vision regardless of the mesh cone. It could be a great design with some fixes. 🙂

Does its Job.
This does do what it is supposed to. The cat cannot lick or aggravate itself, and it blocks the vision less than others, but it is very difficult for them to eat or drink, and the bottom of the cone gets wet from drinking, then scoops up litter from the litterbox and gets litter anywhere the cat goes. I don’t think there is a better solution though!

Better than the plastic one
Works great. He had the old cone that the urgent care provided, it was plastic which would scrape his wound and make it bleed again whenever heâd try to reach to clean the back of his paw (which he would also succeed in somehow). This one is softer, doesnât scratch skin, easier to put on AND is harder to take off (for the pet)! Also, canât reach the back of his paw!!! So happy, recommend it a lotttt

Cats can bend the cone to lick belly
While the product has nice features like breathability and washability, it failed in its primary function. Because of the cone’s flexibility, my cat was able to bend it under his chin so he could lick his problem spot on his lower belly. I had to purchase a traditional rigid cone to solve the problem. Also, the fabric around the neck of this flexible cone quickly degrades when a cat tries to scratch his face through the cone.
