Excellent Sisal Mats For Cats
This works really well. Attaches to the door or wall with four long strips of strong adhesive tape. You can also use the supplied tacking that comes with it. There’s also catnip you can put on the sisal mat that will entice the cats to use it. It’s lightweight, great value for the money you get two mats. Easy to put on the wall, it’s safe for the cats to use. Very large. I would buy them again.

Outstanding Quality – Both cats love them
Mats are thick, strong, and tightly woven, with well stitched edges. There is No smell. Both cats love these mats.I have one on the floor for my small girl, and I stapled one to a 1/2″ piece of plywood that is bolted to the wall for my 2yr old male who is a 21lb savage beast. He cannot pull it off – and he sure tries his best several times a day.Anyone complaining that the included small tacks and/or velcro strips are not keeping a Full Grown Cat from ripping the mat off a wall or post needs to go back and Pass 8th grade physics. Then go buy a staple gun and some 9/16″ staples and secure it properly to solid wood (not drywall or wallpaper) for the safety of their cat.

These are good quality but the sticky is sort of less than great. Very rigid, it kept popping off. I used these to protect a hamper made with that woven grass? My cats were making quick work of ruining it. I just sewed them on with upholstery thread and needle.

Exactly what we needed
We recently brought a pair of kittens into our home, and they decided it was their life goal to rip the paint off the hallway wall. Got this to put over the spot and hopefully deter their antics, and now itâs their favorite scratching spot! Had to lay them flat under something heavy for a few days since they came rolled up, but once they were flattened, installation was a breeze. Sticks very well, and even when our bigger adult cats use it, the Velcro doesnât budge. Definitely one of the more sturdy examples of the stick-on scratchers Iâve come across so far. Doesnât fall apart as easily as the fabric ones that sometimes cost more, and no one gets their claws caught in the material. Definitely would recommend

It feels more like plastic than sisal. I returned item. Some cats might not mind the difference. Nice Velcro to attach to wall or couch. I didn’t try hanging it as my cat avoided it even on the floor.

Good Value But Mind Where You Stick it
Very sturdy, but be mindful of where you put it as it will Adhere Very Strongly. No smell to it and easy to assemble. Color is accurate too. My cat loved using them while she was able to before I had to move around. Iâd say worth the money for her to be able to scratch happily as high up as her little paws want.

My cats already love it and I havenât even hung it up!
These 23 1/2â x 16â woven sisal mats arrived rolled up together and wrapped in plastic. The moment I cut open the plastic, one of my cats appeared out of nowhere and sat down on it! (See my photos) Maybe they are treated with something to attract cats? But my cat definitely likes it!What I really like the cool grey color! The sisal yarn itself is dyed grey, so the color isnât just on the surface. The mats look and feel good quality, and have a nice weight to them. The velcro on the back goes all the way around the edge on the back, (see photo), so it should stay firmly attached to the wall if you choose to use the Velcro to mount it. Iâve decided to use 4 screws sunk in anchors, so that it will be easier to patch the drywall if I decide to move or remove it later.Before mounting it, you might want to lay it face down on the floor, and put some weights on the back, like books, to help the curl relax.

Safer choice for chewers
These scratch mats are tightly woven and are able to withstand both of my cats scratching and they’re pretty ferocious about it. There’s no debris or pieces of rope coming off so this product is a cleaner and safer option to the sisal rope scratching posts that were easily ripped. My male cat was eating the rope and vomiting but with these mats he can’t do that. Definitely a better choice.
