So far so good!!!
I have an 11 year old kitty that is not fond of her 2 younger stray rescues that now live with us. She doesnât hurt them but she will chase the shy one & try to pick fights with the loner of the 2. Iâve tried hemp oil but it only helps for a couple of hours and I donât want to give her so much that she just sleeps 24/7. I seen these & gave them a try. So far this collar has worked well. Iâve had it on her for a few days and she isnât picking on them near as much and I havenât seen her chase my shy girl at all. These collars donât make her sleep more & she still runs & plays & gives an occasional head bop when the youngsters get on her nerves but she isnât tackling them anymore which is fabulous! I gave 4 stars bc I havenât used long enough to see how long one collar will last but so far they are doing exactly what I hoped for! They are easy to put on and havenât come off her neck once. I for sure think these are worth a try! Iâm going to keep using them and if they continue to work will purchase more when I run out. Very happy!!!

The collars have a nice smell and are easy to put on. They seemed to help a little with my catâs stress, but the effect didnât last as long as I hoped. Still, itâs a good value for the price since it comes with several collars. Iâd recommend it for mild anxiety or short trips.

I’m gonna need to see some data before I trust this on my cat
I like the idea of this in theory, but I don’t trust this execution. I opened one up to test on myself for a while before putting it on my cat, and was immediately swamped by the smell of lavender. Per the description, chamomile is in there too, but most of what I was picking up was lavender. I wore it on my wrist for a while and sure enough, my skin still smelled of lavender well after I took it off, so it had rubbed off on me through contact. Here’s the problem with that – lavender is toxic to cats. They shouldn’t ingest it at all, and definitely not as an essential oil, which I would guess is what was used for these collars. If the scent rubs off on me, it would also rub off on my cats’ fur, where they would then ingest it when they groomed. (Not to mention one of my cats can do some kind of facial acrobatics that makes her look like she needs an exorcism, but results in her getting her lower jaw under her collar, which she then pulls off; so that cat would also be at risk of direct ingestion straight off the collar itself.)It is possible to break the collar by pulling on it hard enough, which is good because a cat whose collar snags on something needs to be able to break itself free. The way it cinches to fit is also pretty loose, so I think there are better odds that it would just pull open vs. break, which is also good.I’d be willing to give this another shot if A) they provided some backup the claim that their lavender/chamomile scent is “vet-recommended” and “made with safe, hypoallergenic” ingredients, and B) if they made the smell in general a whole lot less strong. Right now, it seems to me like they’re playing fast and loose with toxic plants, and marketing for humans as if that translates to the cat (I don’t think the cat cares if their collar comes in “calming colors”). Even if it’s somehow completely safe as it stands right now, the smell is still way too strong for any human with scent sensitivities.

Very strong perfume smell
I have a 13 year old cat that Iâve had since she was a kitten and I was single. Over time as our life has changed with multiple moves, family members and additional pets being added to the home she has gotten more and more stressed and has behavioral issues. I thought I would try calming collars to see if they could help. So, first of all theyâre labeled ânon odor smellâ which made me assume they were scent free but they absolutely have a very strong smell. I searched the packaging and insert and couldnât find any indication that it was supposed to have a smell outside the âpheromonesâ ingredient. The title at this time doesnât state anything about the scent but I did find it buried in the description! It supposedly has ânatural lavender and chamomileâ. As someone who works regularly with herbs and essential oils I can say for sure it isnât made with either of those. Maybe natural fragrance but that is still very different than essential oils. The smell isnât horrible but definitely floral in a perfume type of way, and VERY strong. I couldnât even get it on my cat because the smell was so strong. So I have no idea if it works. I got tired of chasing her around the house to try. I think if it wasnât scented I may have been able to get it on her.

Inconclusive
I have tried this product for a month. I have one cat who pulls out her fur (and has for years) who I am desperately trying all things possible to get her to stop. It appears her fur is looking fuller on her belly, but her back and tail are still thin. I have also changed her food around the same time as getting this, so I can’t say definitely which, if either, has helped with her pulling fur out of that location. I will continue to use these and post any updates I notice.

Not sure if they work
I put this cat calming collar on my kitten during a recent move, and it seemed to help her feel a bit more relaxed. The material is soft and lightweight, so she didnât try to chew or scratch it off. I canât say it completely solved her anxiety, but she did seem calmer in stressful moments. It feels like it might be a gentle, low-effort option to help pets cope with change. Other cats may react differently.
