    Horses Love
I got these to give to my mom’s horses on my latest visit. The horses were really loving them. The ingredients are simple and apparently very tasty. They smell great too! I think the cost for 2 lbs of treats seems reasonable. I recommend.

    Great ingredients
We don’t own our own horses but got this so we could have a once in a while treat for our neighbor’s horses. After showing the bag and ingredients to him and getting his okay, we gave it a try and the horses took it without any issues. I can’t comment on the taste but the horses seemed to enjoy it. There is an animal food smell coming from these biscuits as well that isn’t unpleasant, but doesn’t smell like something I’d personally want to eat.The bag itself is resealable so we were able to seal up the bag and come back another day while maintaining the quality of the biscuits as the 32oz bag held many biscuits.

Caledon Farms Harvest Biscuits – Carrot & Alfalfa Recipe Horse Treats 32oz
Treats.Who doesn’t love getting a special treat?Horses feel the same way – they love getting a little something extra to munch on between meals.I have no idea how these taste but the horse next door seems to enjoy them very much and since he’s the only horse we know – we’ll take his word for it.Our neighbors have a few horses and one in particular has caught the eye and heart of one of our nephews. The neighbors are so great in that they allow us to bring our nephew over to their horse barn any time nephew comes over to visit. So we decided to order these horse treats to share with the neighbors horse as somewhat of a thank you for their neighborly kindness and also for a way for our nephew to get to know more about horses – how to handle, work with, and be respectful of them. It’s working really well and sometimes we also bring a carrot or two but the horse seems to like these treats more so than the carrots. The treats arrived in a resealable plastic style bag – similar to what dog treats come packaged in.The pieces are big, easy to hold and share to the horse without getting your fingers taken off, and all the pieces so far have been in tact and unbroken. They do smell – not great – but also not awful.I have not ever purchased or shopped for any other horse treats or food so I really can’t speak to the value these are for their price point – seemed OK to me.Our neighbors are happy with the choice we made in selecting a treat to share with their horse and say they are comfortable with us giving one or two of them to the horse a few times a month. Our nephew loves giving the treats – he’s gaining confidence from this experience and making a priceless connection to nature and animals – to me that’s a fantastic and well worth it – value for the money these cost.

    Well received treats
These horse treats were a pleasant surprise. Our horse took to them immediately, even though they’re made with all-natural ingredients and no added sugar or molasses. You can actually see small bits of vegetables in each treat, which adds to the reassurance about what’s inside. One thing to note: I found these a bit difficult to break by hand, even though they’re relatively small. They seem on the drier side, so when I do want to split one, I place it on a hard surface and tap it with a tool. They’re small enough to feed whole, though, especially for a light reward. We’ve been using them a few times a week, and our horse looks forward to them. A good option for owners looking for a low sugar, natural treat.

    Natural, healthy treats
I didn’t taste these, so I can’t really vouch for how good they are. But when you read the ingredients, they seem to be very natural. And actually, they don’t smell that bad, which makes me think the ingredient list is pretty honest. I don’t have a horse. I was kind of hoping to have these serve as little deer treats. So far, the deer haven’t eaten them at all. But of course, during this season, they’ve got lots to choose from – and I live in the midst of tons of big farms. So I think I’m going to save these for the winter, when beggars can’t be choosers. I’m betting these are gonna look pretty good then!

    Nice treat
Good quality and good value for the money. They are a nice healthy natural snack. No weird smell. The donkey’s loved these treats so I’d assume they taste good. A nice size treat.
