This works great for holding my projector for our homeschooling. Nice and sturdy. Can also be used for laptops, ipads etc. And it’s adjustable.

Great budget laptop stand.
Excellent all-purpose stand. I’ve yet to try out a projector on it as I’ve been using it with a 16in laptop. For that it works perfectly fine. The build quality is good, not flimsy and the platform is metal instead of plastic which is exactly what I wanted.

Sturdy – solid tripod projector and music stand
We purchased the CAHAYA Projector Stand Tripod Adjustable to hold our projector. This is a very sturdy tripod/stand with plenty of room for our projector and space for the phone that we attach to the projector for streaming.We don’t extend the stand to its highest height to watch project onto the screen – so it is plenty tall for our needs.Since we don’t use projector often enough it will probably double as a music stand.As I mentioned, this is a solid stand and it shouldn’t be considered “portable”.It will shrink down to a little under two feet but the tray (where one lays the projector) does not shrink – thus you have this 16x11inch connection to the tripod that is screwed on.Either keep it all extended and placed somewhere or fold it all down and try to find room where it won’t fall – certainly don’t let it fall on anything breakable since the tray is heavy.When the stand is opened it is very sturdy and even with a small bump it doesn’t budge.This perfectly works for what we wanted – a projector stand/music stand – however I took one star off because “portable” means able to be carried and not take up much room. With the tray being screwed onto the tripod this means it doesn’t provide much portability or hiding it away when not in use.It has a nice weight, but it can be “portable” in that it can be carried easily from room-to-room.We look forward to using this for years to come based on how it feels and its build.

Sturdy and Inexpensive
This is a really nice and sturdy projector stand. It supports a nice height with front and back tilting. I was able to place my projector at maximum height, so that its fan and heat don’t bother me; then I just tilted the tray and projector downward to lower the image.

STABLE AND WELL BUILT.
CAHAYA Projector Stand Tripod Adjustable.I use this stand to hold reference books while in use next to the computer. Set it where you want it and at the correct height and you can eaisly turn from computer to books and back again. Works nicely. Works well with large, heavy books. Very stable.QUICK UPDATE: THE MORE I USE IT, THE MORE I LIKE IT. NO PROBLEMS.

It does what it’s supposed to.
I got this so that I can put my small projector on it for home use. It’s easy to setup and store. You can easily adjust the height. It is stable. Unless you intend to put a large heavy duty projector on it, then this would suffice your movie night/presentation needs.

Doesn’t come apart/fold into easily transported or stored components. I was unpleasantly surprised to learn that the desk attaches to the support with four bolts, rendering it impractical to disassemble every time you need to use your projector at a different site. Never assume! Nowhere in the info or the reviews do I see mentioned anything about folding and storage. It would be difficult to find a suitable bag for this when pulled apart.Otherwise the stand is “ok”. Many projectors are heavy (mine is) and I wouldn’t want to put it on this stand with it raised very high… but this is probably not often necessary. When set above about 3′ tall, the stand is precariously wobbly.If I were to choose again, I would choose a different stand. Debating about returning.

Quality laptop stand. Purchased to my hold my Mac book using the safety straps and mat provided. The stand is well built and extremely sturdy, it feels a lot more expensive than it was.
