Really cute
This little artificial plant is so cute! Iâm actually using it in my reptile tank instead of an aquarium, and it worked way better than I expected. It has this double-bottom design so you can bury the base in rocks for fish tanks, but I buried the bottom part in substrate and it looks like the tree is growing right out of the soil. Super clever . Iâve never seen anything like it before! But it makes it look like it belongs in the enclosure. The colors are really nice too. The tree trunk is a solid rich brown, not that weird faded brown some fake plants have, and the top is bright and pretty. It is a little flat for a gecko setup, but since itâs actually meant for aquariums, Iâm not complaining. In a fish tank it would be perfect and would keep it from floating around while still looking natural.Itâs a decent size. Iâd say you probably want at least a 10 gallon tank so it doesnât look cramped. But overall, itâs seriously adorable and Iâm really happy with how it looks in my enclosure. Totally recommend!Oh, and I forgot to mention that it also came with some little grass pieces. That was a nice surprise! These are also brightly colored, and look great on dry land, too.

Exactly As Advertised
This artificial plant set is a great value, in my opinion. When I am wandering the aisles at pet stores or superstores, I often glance at the aquarium products, and this looks like a good deal compared to what I have seen lately. In this set you not only get the tree but also one large and two smaller grass-topped rocks. All 4 pieces are of good quality and if you like the advertised photo, that’s exactly what you get. I did notice some light flashing on the tree trunk from the mold, but it’s not even a big enough deal to deduct from the review. You could use a utility knife to easily remove it, but most people will never know it’s there to begin with.
