Our pigs love!!! Buying our 4th hut now
Great little hay hut. We have 2 pigs in separate cages. They both enjoy hidding in the hut and nibbling on it. One of them enjoys it more than the other and eats it to the point it starts collapsing which is when we replace it.Theyre easy to assemble (come with some zip ties to keep it upright), last about 3 months and since our pigs enjoy them so much theyre absolutely worth the money if you ask me!Size probably only fits one adult guinea pig. Since ours are in separate cages theyve never both tried to enter one at the same time but theres not much extra room when they are hanging out in it.

So happy to have purchased this for my 2 guinea pigs, they have not started to ate it at all but it’s one of there favorite homes to hide. I did cut out my own water proof layer i added underneath inside to prevent it from soiling and top it with layer of fleece blanket to keep it clean as much as I can. Been holding up well looking foward to get another one since my piggies love it,Update: 3 months later they ate some of it ,still holds up and its still the favorite spot for my guinea to hang out. I did decided to cut the bottom part.This edible house is worth it for them.

For some weird reason the first day it arrived and I put this into his cage all heâd do it take a dump in this thing. I recall lifting it outta there during a routine cage cleaning and it was raining skittles for days!I go to look in there one mid afternoon and this guys throwing rooster tails out the window. No.. But seriously tho itâs a pretty cool hut. He chews on sides of it quite a bit, sure it wonât hold up long. We try to give him different things to entertain him and what not. He definitely craps like no tomorrow tho in this thing. But prefers to spend most his time in his comfy hut thing we purchased as well. Guess itâs not bad, maybe he just enjoys the privacy when heâs doing his business. âShrugâ

The Guinea Pigs Love This
Our two guinea pigs are fussy as to what they’ll chew on, but they love this. They like the three different ways to get in and out of it, and they have spent a lot of time chewing and tearing it apart. Unfortunately, because of their eagerness to chew it up, it collapsed within a week, so I had to make sure it was leaning against the side of the cage. That worked for another few weeks.IMO, though, the biggest complaint is it’s not easy to get out the poo. Guinea pigs poo all the time — each one at least 100 times a day. They poo wherever they are. Shaking it out doesn’t always work because the poo gets in between the dried grass of the house requiring a gloved hand to work on it.Nonetheless, I’ll buy it again just because they do love it so much.

This little piggy likes it!
My little piggy definitely went to market when I bought him this! Itâs easy to assemble. Itâs quality made. Itâs fits perfectly in my guinea pigs cage. My pig love to sit in it comfortably while eating it! I swear one night I thought he was literally going to demolish the entire house. We literally have to give him this house as a treat because he is so in love with it he will hide and eat it all day long!

Sharp/dangerous
I got this for my 2 Guinea pigs as an alternative to the plastic huts (my Guinea pigs nibble everything). I gave it a look over and it seemed fine, a little sharp if it poked you but itâs hay so I didnât think anything of it. Within the first 15-20 minutes of them having it there was a little blood on it and it was taken away. They absolutely loved this thing, jumped on top, ran through it, chewed the heck out of it, etc. Iâd say if your pigs like to eat non edible materials you shouldnât buy this, they chewed down to the base/securing materials immediately and kept going. Either way anyone who does buy this should pay close attention.
