Best clay-free, plant based cat litter!
I had to quit using clay-based clumping litter because of my asthma. Clumping clay-based litters often contain bentonite, check your lables, this clay has two major problems. First, the dust from bentonite is extremely fine particles that easily become airborne. Once this is in your lungs your body can’t expel them! Second, betonite is strip mined, this process is seriously bad for the environment.

Great lightweight litter
This lasts a long time and is very easy to scoop. Because it’s so light, it helps to use a covered box, but it is much less trouble to sweep or vacuum than any of our other litters. Also, it’s not as expensive as it might seem since it is so absorbent. We use a number of different litters simultaneously with 8 cats- this is clearly longest lasting and least messy.

Works just as great as my other BoxieAir litter and is ECO too
I’ve been using plant based litters for years, and moved to Boxie quite awhile ago as it lasted longer than my other grass litter and had better odor control. I end up using less as I don’t have to dump as often with the hard clumps coming out of the box – keeps it cleaner and because I only top off, I am saving money over what I was buying before. Thought I would try the eco version and it clumps just as well and my cats see no difference. All plant based litters track more than clay, but seeing that it’s waaaay lighter and I carry my litter upstairs in bulk – I moved to a top loading litter box and that took care of the issue. Will continue to purchase in the large size as I love that its from the midwest and has the same performance for odor control and clumping that I now demand from my litter.

Eye irritation for my kitty
Caused eye irritation for my senior cat- in general this product is hopefull but not safe for older sensative kittys

Sticks to the box if left to sit
It clumps well, but not quickly, so urine has a chance to accumulate on the bottom and sides of the box, making scooping difficult if you don’t catch it immediately, which can be an issue if you work a lot or go on holiday for a few days.Other than that, it’s great. No strong perfume odor, cats like it, works in the automatic litter box.

Yuck
This litter does NOT clump well at all. I am trying different litters with each bag as I recently got the Litter Robot. The robot cleans the waste 7 minutes after the cat exists. This stuff is stuck to the bottom with the pee and I have to scrape it off. Itâs awful. The odor control is nonexistent. Do not waste your money. ð

Still have to scrape up the pees. LOTS OF TRACKING. Not purchasing again but odor wasn’t bad and overall, scooping was easier than the tofu liters.
