I am VERY happy with these vines! My frogs are too!
I just set up a BIG terrarium for my Cope’s Gray Treefrogs. To give you perspective, here are the measurements of my terrarium:36″ tall x 24″ wide x 18″ deep.I have used real wood branches of different types, from different vendors. EVERY SINGLE type of wood I have tried grew mold.I have also tried the “vines” made of real moss. Well, first of all they stunk. They had a VERY strong smell. They smelled like my vegetable garden in a concentrated odor. I like how my garden smells. I don’t want my living room smelling like that. And these vines MOLDED as well.I guess it’s the nature of a humid terrarium. I do have an automatic misting system.SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…I bough these artificial vines / branches and I am so glad that I did.They have not grown any mold or mildew. None. They don’t have ANY smell at all. Not even a plastic type of smell.They look GREAT too! Looks at how nice they look in my terrarium.What I did was to buy two of these vines, two similar looking but different looking vines, and two strong plain brown vines. I twisted all three together as you can see in the pics. I did it for strength. They ended up looking great too!Tree frogs are little acrobats, and I wanted stability, so I made sure to wrap almost all of the smallest branches tightly around the big vines. For aesthetics I kept a few smaller branches, and I kept them kind of under the larger branches. This way the frogs wont feel the need to use the tiny super flexible branches.I can tell you that we LOVE the look of the terrarium. The frogs seem to really like them.

it fits well with the enclosure i have for my lizard and is very vibrant, i will say that it does shed off the fake grass a bit especially when i opened it but now its all good ! great price and isnât thin by any means

Sticky adhesive and small fibers. Not for use with any animals
I rarely give a bad review like this. The item is advertised to be used for reptiles, but the moss on the branches is stuck with an adhesive that immediately turned white and softened when I rinsed the branch off. Also, the moss was made of tiny little fibers that got all over the place. After rinsing for 15 seconds in cool water it was a mess, and I threw it away. I wouldn’t recommend buying this for any reason.

I bought this for my ball python. As I was trying to fit it into his cage, I noticed all of these green plastic shards falling everywhere around me inside and outside of the cage. I tried to rinse it off, but it just kept coming off, and then the glue was showing. I decided to just return it, and buy something more professional. As I was putting in my new items today, I noticed a piece of green plastic shard in my snakes mouth! I was able to get it out easily, but Iâm still super pissed! DO NOT BUY!
