Accurate with great display and easy set up
Works really well for my cheese cave fridge. I have an old mini fridge that, at its warmest, will stay at 40F. Using this, it’s easy to keep my fridge at 55F for cheese aging. It has about a 1 degree range (keeps my fridge from 54-56). I’ve checked it with other thermometers, it’s accurate. I love that the display is not right where you plug it into the wall, as my outlet is hidden. I hung it on the wall right next to the fridge to make it easy to check on it. Very easy to set up as well!

    Temperature controlled Fan for garage
Works very well for my temperature controlled fan. My garage gets a bit hot in Florida so it helps circulate the air…The only thing that would be a great add on would be to be able to have larger than 1 deg C for the on and off setting. it would be nice to have a second choice or Hysteresis of 3 deg C…

Only goes down to 40F Work-Around
I got this to use on a twin-tap EdgeStar beer kegerator in which the thermostat has never worked properly and kept freezing the lines and sometimes even the kegs.I have two- 5 gallon kegs of “classic American lager” that tastes best ice cold and this device only goes down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It would be okay for good craft beer – IPAs, stouts, etc. because those taste best at around 42 degrees, but not for “cheap” beer LOL.What I did to overcome this was I wrapped the probe sensor in some insulating foil bubble wrap with zip-ties and placed the probe on the side close to the door seal where I know it probably has some air infiltration and would read warmer than the main part of the fridge. It worked and the beer comes out at around 35 degrees, which is good enough when dispensed into an frosty mug.It was literally half the price of another brand I use, probably because of the 40 degree issue, so that’s a plus, especially for this use. We’ll see how long it lasts, but even the more expensive units usually go out after a year or two.

Easy to use, small in size to control my attic fan and installs in seconds!
I have a house with a whole house fan in the attic. I had to turn it manually. Now I set it to go on at 75 degrees when it hot and it automatically shuts off soon as it cools down. Easy to use easy to install!

Can only handle 4 Amps for fan motors, not 8.3 Amps!
Per the spec sheet that arrives with this BN-LINK temperature controller, this unit can only handle 4 Amps for INDUCTIVE loads, such as fan motors! The description on this product falsely claims that it can handle 8.3 Amps for circulation box fans, but ALL electrical motors are INDUCTIVE loads! My 18 inch attic exhaust fan uses 5.6 amps, and thus I could not use a device rated for 4 amps to run a motor using 5.6 amps. I reviewed ALL of the reviews before I purchased this product, and wondered why many users complained that this product failed after using it for a year. If the reviewers used these controllers on fan motors that require more than four amps, it is a wonder that the controllers lasted for a year! – Amazon, please update this product listing to state that while this product can handle 8.3 Amps of RESISTIVE loads, such as lighting and heating, it can only handle FOUR Amps for INDUCTIVE loads, such as fan motors. The product does seem to be quite accurate, insofar as temperature control, but I could not use it for the attic fan motor that I had purchased it for.

    A chicken coop must!
I live in the Southern US and our daytime temps often get over 95 degrees. I love using these devices for running a regular old fan for my chickens during the hot season. I set it at 85 and the fan comes on once my coop reaches 85, and it cuts off once it gets a degree or two cooler.Pros: super easy to set desired temperature, usually lasts several yearsCons: stops working after a few years

I purchased this digital thermostat for my kegerator, and it has been a game-changer! My keg fridge is built into the counter, making it difficult to reach the control dial on the back. This thermostat allows me to control the fridge temperature to very specific settings in an accessible way.The setup was straightforward, and it has worked flawlessly since I bought it over a year ago. I can easily manage the temperature, ensuring my beverages are always at the perfect chill. Overall, I highly recommend this digital thermostat for anyone needing precise and convenient temperature control for their kegerator or fridge.
