Not suitable for small birds contrary to its description.
This was much to hard for my birds to even get pulled out to fly at all, it held her in place almost entirely as a result.

the Swirge 19.69Ft Retractable Bird Leash with 5 Different Size Foot Ring and Feeder Box. This product turned out to be a complete disappointment and, more importantly, unsafe for my bird.First, the quality is extremely poor. The leash feels flimsy and cheaply made, and the retractable mechanism is unreliable. It jams constantly, which could easily injure a bird if it gets stuck or pulled too quickly.Second, the so-called âdifferent size foot ringsâ are badly designed. None of them fit securely or comfortably, and they look uncomfortable for any bird to wear. I wouldnât trust them to hold safely even for a short walk.The feeder box included is basically uselessâitâs tiny, awkward, and feels like an afterthought rather than a functional accessory.The biggest issue is safety. This product is simply not secure enough for birds. The risk of escape or injury is far too high. I tried it once and immediately decided never to use it again.Overall, this leash is a waste of money and potentially dangerous. I would strongly recommend against buying the Swirge Retractable Bird Leash for your feathered friends. Save your money and invest in a safer, higher-quality product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought my conure would tolerate the band but she won’t. Product is great, training is needed for both bird and owner.Â

I didn’t recieve all the 5 different sizes as described (only got 3) so I did a return and again only recieved 4 of them. But what I noticed was that they are too heavy for the birds to walk/fly in, another con is that they are not comfortable at all for the birds( they didn’t seem to like them)

The foot rings are made nicely and seem like they would be comfortable and comes with a small storage tin. The product itself seems to be made nicely. However, the retractable leash doesnât have an option to lock and have some slack so that the box isnât sitting on the birds foot. I donât know a single bird that would want a heavy box hanging off their foot.

Don’t force it on, if your bird is upset just leave it alone
My cockatiel does not like it at all, it takes 2 people to put on. I don’t believe this is right for my bird.
