It proved my point
I got this to prove a point. I pretty much like having birds around the yard. The wife bought one that birds wouldn’t touch. It looked uncomfortable for the birds. They hated it, so did I. This one had everything I was looking for. Roof was larger than the bottom. Four perfect perches. Plenty of room to eat. Plenty of food. The birds love it and honestly, that’s what matters. This is literally the most popular feeder in the yard. We have several. It’s nothing but a bird feeder. The birds love the thing and that’s what matters. Now everytime we sit out back and watch them loving this and eating their fill I get to say, “those birds really live that new feeder.” I get to rub it in how much they hate the one she got. Love this one and so fo we.

This is a very nice, heavy duty bird feeder
This is a very nice bird feeder. I live in the woods. Like deep in the woods. 45 minutes to the nearest town. So we have lots of wildlife. I needed a feeder that could hold up to racoons and bears, not just squirrels. This feeder does great against the racoons. It is all metal, so even if they rip it down, it doesn’t break like plastic feeders. I’m not sure about the bears yet, so far they haven’t come after it.The feeder has a heavy metal/nylon cable it hangs from and a heavy duty metal hook too. The rest of the feeder is all metal, no plastic, and is pretty tough. There is a nice roof to cover the birds while they eat and drain holes for water run off. I have seen many birds on it even in the rain, so it seems like it keeps them relatively dry. If I had one criticism, it’s too short. This is a very short feeder that will only allow small and medium size birds to eat from it. Larger birds like blue jays will not visit it.

Attractive Bird Feeder
Purchased for my mother. It is an attractive and sturdy feeder. It is easy to fill and has a large seed cavity. The birds and my mother love it. Unfortunately, the squirrels also love it. They haven’t been able to lift the top to get at the seeds (yet), so that part does seem somewhat squirrel proof, but are they are quite comfortable feeding from the trays.

Pretty but holes are too small
Itâs pretty and easy to fill, but the birds are avoiding it still after setting it up a month ago.I believe itâs because the holes are too small for them to get the black oil sunflower seed out.

Perfect replacement for my old feeder. A squirrel had figured out the old one but so far this one has it confused, mind the feeder is Hung off a stainless steel wire.which the squirrel has to rappel.

Well this is a nice looking and well built feeder. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is that the illustration makes it appear larger than it actually is, attracting larger birds such as cardinals and blue jays, however, the ledges for the birds to perch on are too small to hold them to enable them to eat properly. The smaller birds eat at the feeder and the larger ones (as well as a few squirrels and a very sociable rabbit) feed from the droppings on the ground. This was purchased to accommodate larger birds and it doesn’t do that.

not squirrel proof.Red squirrels sit on the tray and perch and eat all they want. even on a metal poll not close to any trees they still find their way to it.
