Very well written, easy to understand must read! Nicole truly understands how horses think and how to work with your horse. Anyone who works with, rides or cares for horses should read this book. I will read this over and over again and as problems arise will apply her methods. Nicole also has a very helpful blog every horse lover should follow!!! This book was a lot deeper than I expected. It really made me think, both about things that I leaned towards naturally with horses and other training methods that I have seen. Her view of horses is wonderfully told and to me, just makes sense.

I liked the style of the writer as a trainer how he saw the horse behavior and consistency of treating the behavior. He used excellent examples of his reading the horse and correcting the behaviors.

Exceptional Information.
I would recommend this to any and all riders who are perplexed by their horses behavior. In a very concise and easy to understand way, the author gives a glimpse of what a horse may be thinking and feeling and the response we can expect. The response may be frightening, and at times dangerous,but should not be “unexpected” if one follows the line of thinking expressed in this book. The message is clear. It is never the horse’s fault. The relationship between horse and rider is one to be cherished and nurtured in every interaction.
