Quality construction and Big; Make sure your tank is large enoguh!
If youâre looking for a water dish that is bigger than expected and built to last with high quality materials, this item is a strong choice. It is perfect for a bearded dragon and I feel confident in the durability. The size gives me peace of mind and it will definitely take up a significant amount of space in your tank. Highly recommend if you want premium, well-constructed accessories for setup.The platform is made of a resin with a natural rock look, which gives it a nice aesthetic blend with my terrarium setup. The surface is smooth and non-porous, which means itâs easy to clean and doesnât harbor moisture or bacteria like some cheaper plastics might. This aligns with best practices that recommend non-porous surfaces for reptile water dishes. Cleaning was easy and fast.

Works well for my blue tongue skink
I’m very happy with the design and overall value of the piece. I got it for my blue tongue skink and he uses it quite a lot. He can climb and use the tunnel for hiding, which are his two favorite things to do. The only complaint I have is about quality control as my piece arrived with some minor cracks.The design is great. You can put a food dish or water in either of the sunken areas. I would not put water, food, or insects directly in either area due to the rough texture of the piece. It would be hard to clean if you got lots of food build up. However, you can just put the food or water in a small bowl and it works great. Overall cleaning is not hard considering the rough texture. This texture gives the piece a more realistic feel and makes it easier to climb on so I think it’s a good thing. I cleaned mine with diluted F10SC after a scrub down with some hot water. I spot clean as needed and try to disinfect about once a month or so as I do with the whole enclosure.The cracks I mentioned are minor, but they are the reason why I did not give 5 stars. They are small enough that I was able to cover them with some reptile-safe silicone sealant out of an abundance of caution. The shipping box and the product box and packaging were all in perfect shape, so I assume these small cracks slipped through quality control.Overall, I would recommend this for larger lizards like skinks, bearded dragons, ackie monitors, etc. Leopard geckos and snakes might enjoy it as well. Just check for any cracks before putting the piece in with your pet.

Great addition to my bearded dragon tank
This rock for your bearded dragon is an excellent edition. I honestly thought it was smaller when I got it in my 40 gallon tank it actually was the size as his other one. I actually ended up using both because he has already grown fond of the other one, so I added this to the other side and actually put his food in the holes and he comes up there and climbs. I honestly think itâs really cool. He can use it different ways and it has a hideaway in the bottom.

SO many sharp edges!
I absolutely love how this basking platform looks, but I do not appreciate the many sharp edges that require sanding down. I spent over an hour working on this piece and it just doesn’t look as good with the coloring sanded off. Sharp edges are so dangerous to your animals and I highly suggest everyone go over any piece like this very carefully. My gecko does really like this platform now, but I don’t think it looks as nice after the required handiwork. I may try refinishing it eventually.

large hide/basking feeding stone tank accessorie
This large tank accessorie has a nice multipurpose use it has an under hide that can be used for sleeping or just a cooler area to take a break from the heat, a basking/climbing rock with a built in feeding/water slot. It’s heavy duty and would work great for lizards, snakes, turtle/tortoise etc.I like it’s realistic look and rigid sides making an area for our reptile to rub against especially when in her shedding process. It’s weighted nicely and won’t tip over to ensure while she is roaming/climbing around it’s safe from tipping over preventing damage to the tank and or crushing her. It absorbs heat ensuring a nice warm platform for our lizard to enjoy.

This is a decently sized unit, so it’ll want for a bit bigger tank – although so will the reptile. I got this for my daughter, she’s getting one soon, and while technically it does ‘fits’ in her starter tank, but pretty much fills the space, so we’re changing up the plan a bit – since it’s part of what I do, I’ll build a nice habitat for it. These resin cast pieces are great for a whole lot of reasons, (weight being my primary one) and I do use them in general, but I also use more natural materials, woods, rocks, etc., to round out any tank, terrarium, aquarium, whatever it may be. The critters have no sense of real vs artificial, but some may have preferences; working with things one can keep clean without a lot of hassle is the most important aspect. Most are a bit pricier than I find reasonable, but sweating over 10-20% isn’t worth it, it is a hit worth taking in the long run.

Nice big cave
This is heavy enough that your dragon cannot move it. It is bigger than I expected, and happy it is that big, as most caves aren’t big enough for a dragon, which averages 20 inches long. This one has a feeding dish on top, but I will use it for water. The top has a basking ledge, and the dragon can get under the ledge. My dragon seems to like the basking ledge and sleeping in the bottom cave. I would love to see an even bigger cave with climbing rocks so he can reach the windows to bask in the sun.
