This product is definitely worth buying
This really works well for my bearded dragon. I did get the larger size. I have it underneath/close to the basking area the slate hose the warmth very well. My dragon seems to really like it also very appealing to the eye.

Slate is Great
I bought the smaller one & Itâs exactly what I needed. It keeps the heat in for my bearded dragon. price is great & Looks Great I have no complaints . Iâll be buying the bigger one soon

They truly are loners
So my lizards absolutely love the basking station! The tank was a refurbished fish tank so its higher then reptile tanks but the rock gives them a bit of elevation to soak. I find my crew up there more often to not. The are not housed together this was just a get used to it yall both live here videoâ¦they like their own space but i try to acclimate them to each other with little âplaydatesâ anywho would recommend

The shale piece is thin which for basking is fine while for holding heat no. I was expecting something about twice as thick. It holds heat maybe for a few minutes when the lamp goes off. Itâs used and like by the bearded dragon. The problem I have is the wooden supports are not cut equal size. So it wobbles. I had to remove one so itâs on 3 pieces because of it to make it solid. If I didnât toss the box I would return it and buy shale for an aquarium and build a platform with that.

Sheds bark/particles & the wood is all unevenly cut.
I was really excited ordering this for my juvenile Beardie. Delivered on time & packaged well. Looks just like the advertisement. But? The wood pieces ugh⦠1stly, theyâre not cut even, thatâs a problem in itself. The slate wonât sit straight. So I tried glue gunning them on, doesnât hold either, & still doesnât fix the unevenness. They also make a mess. Over & over. The wood is constantly shedding off into the enclosure anytime you touch it (or your reptile touches). I wound up getting sand paper to sand off all that loose bark & particles. That mostly worked but I still canât use it. No matter what Iâve done to try to steady it, it just isnât happeningâ¦. So Iâm stuck with it, wasting money on yet another item that is worthless for me to use.

Poor edges and corners, they are very sharp had to sand it all down to make it safe before i used it.
