    BE PREPARED
I earned my Eagle Scout award in 2011, so I’ve seen my fair share of first aid kids. This one is the single best one I’ve ever used.I bought this back in 2019, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this amazing kit. I’ve added to it and replaced items and it just keeps having enough space.I’ve taken it camping with friends and they always chuckle at how big and bulky it is… Until they scraped their shin and I’ve got bandages for days… Or the bugs bite and I’ve got treatment for that… Or they burn their hands and I’ve got treatment for thatI highly recommend you also purchase a Life Straw to keep in here (yes, there’s room for that and a good sized pocket knife). Here’s what I think it’s lacking:- the scissors are trash. The manufacturer may be hamstrung by regulations, so I forgive them.- the clips keeping it closed break easily.

    Great starter first aid kit!
This is a great first aid kit to store at home. It contains all the basic essentials needed for my family of 5. I’m not sure what the advertised “100 person” is based upon, but this is perfect for treating your basic at-home medical emergencies. The best part about this first-aid kit is the multi-compartment case. I hate clutter and when searching for a first aid kit, many of the other options showed the supplies just tossed in the case. In an emergency, who wants to have to dump out everything just to find what you’re looking for? Simply knowing that with this kit, everything has its place was very refreshing. I know that refilling this kit will be a piece of cake. You can clearly see the items you’re running low on and what needs to be replaced. I also love that the kit can be wall mounted, which allows you to designate a safety area in the home that the adults all have access to. Highly recommend!

    Nice first aid kit
I depleted my previous kit and after the Great Chainsaw Mishap last year, I needed to restock. Decided something wall-mountable would be great. Try holding pressure on one hand while trying to get your kit out of a cupboard and open, etc. It’s a juggling act, to say the least. So along about Earthquake Preparedness Day in the Pacific Northwest, I figured it was high time to get this squared away while reviewing my disaster prep. Stumbled on this kit in my search and looked pretty spot on. Ticked all my boxes. It has pretty much anything you would want in a decently stocked first aid kit. My only complaint, and it’s not much of a complaint, for which I knocked off one star… The actual hard case is a little on the cheap side, and when you open it, the lid kinda sags down a little. Not a huge deal, but it makes it a bit fiddly to get it closed and latched back up. Minor complaint. A little extra space for additional odds and ends would be nice, but this is a very nice kit for the price, imo. (Ex-EMT)Along with an additional grab-and-go kit, this has me all stocked up and ready for my next mishap around the ole homestead or the 9.5 Big One.

Excellent kit, but mine expired pretty quickly
This looked to be the best kit available for the money – a nice compromise between completeness and price. Has a huge assortment of odds and ends – hopefully way more than I will ever need. Part of the attractiveness of this kit was the sturdy, decently designed hard case it came in. I read about it in another review and it helped me decide on this one. Why spend money on a bunch of stuff that will be ruined by wet if I have to take additional steps to protect it? The case seems like it will do a good job of protecting all the contents. My only trouble with this kit was really not with the kit at all, but the supplier. When it came I discovered the expiration date was up in 6 months. My experience with other kits has been that they are generally good for at least a couple years. I immediately contacted the seller to ask if this was normal with this kit. They could not tell me whether it was or not and asked if they could send another kit to replace this one (good customer service there!). I said that would be fine and they told me I could keep the kit that would expire in a few months. When I received the newly mailed kit – you guessed it – exact same expiration date as the first. So I can only assume this lot of kits from this seller has been sitting in a warehouse for awhile. I can’t imagine it would be normal for it to expire so quickly. If it is normal however, maybe that can explain why the kit is as modestly-priced as it is.To be honest, most things in the kit are not really subject to an expiration date, anyway. Aside from the drugs and unusual-type bandages most of it will be just fine well past the expiration date.Cheers!
