Prasburr Bamboo Toothbrushes: Eco-Friendly Handle, Plastic Bristles
The Prasburr Bamboo Toothbrushes have a handle that is 100% bamboo, which is great for sustainability. However, the bristles are made of plastic (PBT), which defeats the purpose of having an eco-friendly toothbrush as they can’t be composted. This was a bit disappointing since I was hoping to compost the entire toothbrush.Another issue I encountered is that the head of the toothbrush is much taller than traditional toothbrushes, and the wood part sticks out more than I’m used to. I’ve accidentally bitten the bamboo a few times, and let me tell you, it’s not a pleasant experience.On the positive side, the toothbrush does its job well and feels sturdy. If you can get used to the size and the plastic bristles aren’t a dealbreaker for you, it’s a decent toothbrush. However, for those looking for a fully compostable option, this isn’t the best choice.

My everyday toothbrush
These bamboo brushes are soft, but effective and scrubbing everything away. They fit in the mouth, but the wooden part is a bit bulky, if you are coming over from thin, plastic ones. The brushes come individually in cardboard. Very nice overall. I believe the bristles are nylon, so not sure how to compost it.

These are beautiful toothbrushes. Itâs a shame to throw them away when you wear them out. They have soft bristles that feel good when you brush your teeth.
