Cute little feeder
I love this I got it for my button quail when they get bigger atm they cant reach it but this would work well for any small animal. I think the price point is ok but honestly for a single one it could be lower or made into a 2 pack to make it worth the value.

Feisty Hamster Approved!
This made it a day in my energetic hamsterâs cage. It definitely works for what its intended to do, but if you have a pesky little hamster like we do who likes to sling his food everywhere, you may want to use this as needed for weekend trips as we intend to do.When I took it out of the package I cleaned it then set it in the hamsterâs cage. He instantly took to it and started eating out of it neatly. Overnight he figured out how to drain the entire thing to get to his favorite seeds out of the feeder and we woke up to a mess all over his cage. The feeder works! Donât get me wrong, it totally works, we just have a feisty hamster who likes to make messes and he figured out how to make one of this quickly. I will still use this for when we go on weekend trips and he needs a little more food than normal for a couple of days. Thankfully hamsters will still eat their food if its spilled which is totally on him! This is a great thing to have if you are going on a get away and donât need a pet sitter.

Hamster got Stuck and Almost Injured
Horrible product. Not even 10 minutes into using the product my hamster got the lid off and fell upside down into the tube trying to get food. The lid comes off and my hamsterâs foot slipped. The scooper that is supposed to get held in the lid doesnât stay and falls easily. I was looking forward to using this product for a long vacation that I wouldnât be able to tend to my hamster at home. Disappointed, do not buy unless you want your small pet to get injured!

Holds a lot of food and looks pretty good
My son, a new hamster owner, is thoroughly enjoying his new pet. He chose this feeder because he believed it could hold a substantial amount, and it does. However, hamsters are intelligent creatures, and theyâve discovered that they can manipulate the feeder to access as much of their favorite food as they desire. While this isnât a design flaw, itâs simply because the feeder is significantly larger than his previous one. Despite this, the feeder has a pleasing appearance inside the cage, and considering the price, I highly recommend it.

Great for Vacations
this little food silo holds enough that we can go away for a week and not have to worry about our hamster running out of food. I also like that the design helps keep bedding out of the food bowl. Our hamster has no issue eating out of this bowl.

Food Hoarder’s (aka, hamster’s) Dream
Okay so we have 4 Syrian hammies and all have quite different personalities. The common trait though is they all hoard food like toilet paper during COVID. This automatic feeder works well in that it automatically releases more food on demand. However, the demand of a hamster is similar to that of a toddler in the toy aisle. They want ALL of it. So if you’re looking for essentially a hamster buffet that they can gorge themselves on to their heart’s content, this might be the item for you. But if you want something that properly rations food as (actually) needed, this doesn’t exactly cut it. Additionally, it is made out of fairly thin plastic and a chewer would be able to demolish it pretty quickly.. Two of our four would likely squirrel away all the food and then eat the feeder for good measure. The other two might just nibble the edges if it were allowed by us human servants to run empty. I wish I could give this a better review, really. Conceptually, it’s a great idea. It just doesn’t work for these little food hoarders.
