    No waste bird food
Good quality seed which the birds eat eagerly. No shells to worry about. No waste. Good price point as well. Only thing keeping it from a five star rating is that these are sunflower seed chips and not whole sunflower hearts.

If you are new to feeding birds This is the best and most affordable ones to buy.
When I first started putting up bird feeders decades ago, I bought the cheaper wild bird mixture of seeds including millet, and black oil sun flower seeds because it was much more affordable .I noticed that the ground below my bird feeders was covered with cast off seeds, and the milletetc, etc, was left uneaten. What a waste !Here in Alaska and the only thing the birds really ate was the shelled and unshelled sunflower seeds.I started buying a 40 pound bag, sunflower seeds in the shell. So For decades, I’ve been purchasing black oil sunflower seeds for the birds. Thinking myself wise. Ummm. NOSTILL uneaten seeds all over the groundWell, I resigned myself yo the fact that birds are just plain picky! And that’s the way it is! But were they? This summer I decided to do an experiment and watch closely at the birds eating just the black sunflower seeds.I noticed they were still tossing seeds to the ground ! I thought to myself “why don’t they like that one? What’s wrong with it? Is it not pretty enough? Doesn’t smell right what’s the problem ?”Next, I watched what the birds did with the seeds they DID PICK.BINGO! It was the Size of the seed. One species of bird either swallows or puts it in its gullet whole and other birds like chickadee, flies back to the safety of the trees with the seed in its beak.During our long, dark, frigid winter months I put out “shelled sunflower pieces and chips” to make it easier on them.so had some on hand! So decided to replace seeds in the shell with shelled sunflower chips and pieces. There is almost 0% Waste. !!And Instead of having to fill my birdfeeder with black oil, sunflower seeds during the heavier times of the year, almost weekly, (and all that waste ) that same bird feeder with chips and pieces every 6weeks or so.Conclusion: in the long run:The pieces and chips really are more affordable and the birds like them better, zero waste.

    Good quality bird seed!
I have 9 grandkids. When they visit, they love to check-in on the bird feeder scene. These Audubon Park Bird seeds are very good quality and seem to be well priced. This is my third bag. I have grown to trust this company!

All my outdoor birds love it !
I am into birds big time even pigeons and doves . I go through bird seed like Grant took Richmond . This brand and type is my favorite . I only buy NO MESS bird seed . I get about 70 birds daily . I buy 80 percent of my bird seed on Amazon . This is because the price is the best for what I am looking for. This bird seed is for ALL of my little birds and because of my Brome feeder ,the squirrels don’t even bother .
