Good quality and good packaging.
This is the second time we ordered this, very pleased with the quality and packaging. Birds love it, we’re in the Midwest and get the usual common birds like sparrows, blue jays, cardinals, mourning doves, a few other ones and a squirrel occasionally. We try not to overfeed them and not to get them too dependent and by skipping a day here and there it also makes it last longer, there is a good amount of clean seed hearts in this product. Its a small price to pay to be able to see and hear birds up close.

No mess nutritional bird food!!
In all of the years I’ve been feeding backyard birds, I had never heard of these shelled sunflower hearts and chips. Not only are they SO much cleaner than the oil sunflower seeds I’ve been purchasing, but they attract many more birds to my backyard. There’s absolutely no clean up of shells, and the goldfinches and purple finches are constantly on the feeder. When spread on my patio, the chips attract robins, doves, cardinals, wrens, song sparrows, and even a variety of squirrels. This product is perfect!!! If you want to feed the birds in your backyard without the mess of seeds in shells, this is what you need!

Whole Seeds – Few Chips – No Waste – Bird Heaven
Whole sunflower seeds. Barely any sunflower seed chips. Truly a deluxe bird seed. The birds LOVE IT. AND, it is assisting me in my quest to upstage my bird-obsessed neighbor who, despite her devotion to feathered critters, fees the birds sunflower seeds with the shell on, creating a LOT OF MESS on my patio. I’ve told her that sunflower seeds with the shells on are false economy, that the shells are pure waste, and create litter EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately, she isn’t quite astute enough to listen to me.So, I am both educating, and upstaging her. The birds (mostly blue birds) vastly prefer these whole shelled sunflower seeds, AND, NO WASTE!

Best birdseed
This seed is loved by all birds, and does not leave one speck of waste.

Damaged. Non-refundable
The birds love it. However, both times I ordered it, the bag had a slash (-1). Non-refundable / replaceable. Thus I recommend buying another seller.

Will buy them again.
Very good. Easy to store. Good deal for the money. Lasts a long time if you keep your husband out of them. He does not eat them, but he can be overly generous and feeds them to deer hogs.

Tried many other sunflower seeds. Finches and chickadees love this one. Arrived quickly .

Birds love ’em!
I don’t want anything with shells, which leave a mess. My birds (chickadees, finches, pine siskins, Stellar’s jays, woodpeckers, flickers, nuthatches, etc.) ALL love these, without exception. And these are the least expensive of all similar Amazon products. My only criticism is that they’re sunflower hearts..nary a chip in the bag…even though some reviewers claim they’re too small. I’ve ordered them about 10 times now and they’re ALWAYS hearts, not small pieces…and never “rancid” as one reviewer claimed. Also, when some pieces are spilled, the chipmunks (if you have them) will gobble them up.
