This really works. At first I was apprehensive but a day or two after cleaning my tank. I like to pop this in due to the algae bloom. It definitely helps control it and then within a couple days the water becomes very clear. It doesnât harm the fish at all, which is good. I was worried about that.

MADE TANK WORSE
OOOH THIS DID NOTTTT MAKE THE WATER BETTER…ENDED UP HAVING TO EMPTY WHOLE TANK…ONLY MADE IT WORSE. YES I WAITED 4 DAYS LATER TO SEE IF ANY CHANGE WOULD OCCUR…THE BALLS DIDN’T EVEN FULLY DISSOLVE. 🙁 SAD MISTAKE.

Worked great after a little cleaning.
These worked great on helping with my cichlid tank. I have 3 blue crayfish in the tank and they were not bothered by these either. The tank did stay cloudy until I did 2 water changes with the gravel vac. Other than that, Iâd buy again and I would recommend them.

Review of sludge tablet
I recommend not putting this directly in fish tank water, as clouds out alot, and took a couple days before better. I will only add to filter, which is best method they advise.

Disappointed and Frustrated.
Extremely disappointed. My tank was completely clear but it was recommended to use this product as a proactive measure as my tank is new. Within 12 hours my tank was completely cloudy! Top of the water had a film on it and there were white particles from the product floating throughout the water. I now have to empty my tank, rinse everything, wipe everything down and start over. I cannot recommend this product.
