Customers say
Customers find the water conditioner highly effective, with one noting it works well in a 35-gallon tank, and many saying it’s better than alternatives. The product receives positive feedback for fish health, with customers reporting their fish are thriving, and they appreciate its nice large bottle size that can treat up to 900 gallons. The water clarity and ammonia levels show mixed results – while some say the water stays clear longer, others report it becomes cloudy, and ammonia levels vary between customers.

â¤ï¸I canât say enough good things about this product â¤ï¸
I read a review about this brand stating their fish were in bad condition, hadnât been eating, staying on the bottom of the tank and looked like they were about to die. He said he added this to his aquarium and they are healthy now.The reason I was searching is because my Glo Fish were fine but my 5yr. old Pleco hadnât eaten in almost a month and was laying on the bottom of the tank or balancing on her nose like what I called âDoing the Titanicâ. Totally thought she was a goner. The water seemed to have recently been treated with what smells like chlorine now that summer days are upon us as they do every year. But this year was different because algae wasnât even growing, my live aquarium plants were suffering and the water was clearer than I had ever seen, my filter had absolutely nothing on it either. So I took my filter out to encourage algae to grow but still nothing.I vacuumed the gravel per usual, which was awful because the wafers werenât getting eaten but was holding out hope.I used the last of my trusty water conditioner Iâve used over 20 years when replacing the first 10 gallons of water then used half a cap full for the last 5 gallons. Now when I say my Pleco came back is an understatement. By the next day or two she began eating her wafers again, swam around the tank searching for algae and is hanging on the glass again. I couldnât believe it! I still canât!Itâs so nice to look at my tank every morning and see her healthy again and not having to wonder if today is the day. I am sticking with this brand from now on.The bottle is pretty big and I use less than with the other brand so itâs going to last a long time with water changes along with adding water to the tank.Read the directions, donât use too much and enjoy your much happier fish!

Sounded Convenient, But Caused a Huge Algae Bloom â Wouldnât Recommend
I bought the Natural Rapport Aquarium Water Conditioner because the idea of an âall-in-oneâ treatment sounded super convenient. It had solid reviews, and I figured, why not give it a try?Unfortunately, the first and only time I used it, I experienced a massive outbreak of brown algae (diatoms) overnightâsomething Iâve never had to deal with before in my tank. The only change I made was switching to this conditioner, so I did a little research.â ï¸ Why I Donât Recommend It:Not as chemically complete or efficient as trusted brands like Seachem Prime or API Stress Coat + Stability. Those products:Detoxify ammonia, nitrites, and nitratesâPrime especially is well-known for this. Are highly concentrated, so you use less per gallon.Allow you to dose precisely for emergencies (like ammonia spikes or new tank cycling).Often pair with bacteria supplements (like API Quick Start or Seachem Stability) that help support the nitrogen cycle.Natural Rapport claims to do âeverything in one,â but it seems to lack the strength and reliability of dedicated, science-backed formulas. The formula may include natural additives or organics that can fuel diatom blooms or cloud the waterâsomething I hadnât experienced with other conditioners.ð Final Thoughts:It might work fine for some, but in my case, it caused more problems than it solved. While my fish were fine, the algae bloom was sudden, ugly, and completely avoidable. Iâve since gone back to using Seachem Prime + Stability and havenât had the issue again. If youâre serious about aquarium careâespecially in tanks with sensitive fish or plantsâIâd recommend sticking with reputable, proven brands and using separate treatments for best control.
Mr. Banks –
This stuff is superb, lasts forever, ensures my tap water is chlorine free once it enters the tank. Clean to store away and I think it’s great value for money too. I use it over the other brands, can’t recommend it enough. Water parameters are always perfect, and whilst this isn’t the only reason, it certainly helps.
