Great Light – Very Bright and the Modes Work Great
Very Pleased with this Light. It is brighter than some of my other more expensive lights and the 24 hour mode is great. I set it on this and now I never have to worry about turning the lights on or off. It is really a good deal.

So good but a bit short
The light itself is a little short for my 10 gal. I have my plants on one side and either the plants don’t get enough light or half the tank is darker. So I’ll be suplimenting that with my old light. The 24hr cycle works really well and is so pretty to watch throughout the day. The programming was easy and setting it at the exact time isn’t necessary, mine is set 30 minutes ahead. My plants have grown a lot with this light though I think it’s great for the price

Inexpensive and capabable
Had this for about a year over my planted tank, in addition to 48W of T5 bulbs. On its own, it doesn’t have enough punch to grow plants, but in combination with additional lights it is pretty nice.I use the 24h cycle which works pretty well for me.My only issue is that power outages make the 24h cycle go wack. So I need to teach my technologically challenged wife to reset it properly when I am not home. I wish it had a little battery- (or capacitor) backed timer that would keep its schedule in case of temporary power outages.However, it defaults to “simple mode” where it turns on full power whenever it is plugged in, so one could just control it with a separate timer sans the Sunrise/Moonlight modes.

This is an awesome light. It’s nice and bright, and the 24 hour on & off feature is great! My aquarium plants love it and are growing like crazy now. I liked this one so much that I bought 2 more to replace my other aquarium lights.

Cannot dim while on 24-hour cycle
Good quality and size fits my needs. However, the biggest drawback is that you cannot control the brightness while on the 24-hour light cycle. Unfortunately, the bright light during thee daytime has fried my plants. Itâd be great if you could use the light cycle AND dim the light

I’m setting up a small 20L tank and this light is fantastic ð²Not only brilliantly designed but the 24 hour auto setting is a great bonus for when travelling… excellent amount of light and the colour change from sunrise to moonlight during the 24 hour mode is cool and functional !Highly recommend so far… plants and fish going in soon.

I originally purchased this as it was waterproof and I could install it inside my current hood as the original leds failed due to age.I prepped the hood and used aquarium silicone to stick it to the hood..The pic is daylight cycle at 75% daylight.Different colours are pretty cool and time seems fine, straight forward. Iâm using the automatic 24 hour for now and will see how it goes.Product appears to be well made and very adaptable for the purpose I had in mind for itUpdate after using this for a few weeks on the timer, this light really makes the fish colors pop. Iâm thinking of converting my other tank hood lights they look so good.Only comment is if the controller cord to the light fixture was longer.Updated review.I have now converted all my tanks to these lights.The timer function is great once set, turn on at the time you want it to light up, press the timer for ,10,12 hours and it will turn on for the selected time at the same time every day.One nice feature is the soft on and off of the lights – no more startling my fish in the morning.The colors are nice, but I like it full spectrum, as it really brings out the color of my plants and fish in the tanks.I did have one light fail just out of warranty, I reached out and had excellent customer service to replace it.I have updated the pics as well to include my other modified tanks and my large tanks all running this light in different sizes.I would highly recommend this light type from this supplier, either to sit on top of a glass lid, or as a replacement for the standard hood lights

I am very impressed with this light. It’s probably one of the best aquarium lights I’ve bought. The build quality is great and the light is very bright and really showcases the aquarium. The 24 hour timer was very simple to set up and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve bought a second unit now for my bigger tank. Definitly recommended.

Extremely impressed by this light, especially for the price. It’s wider than I expected and nice and bright. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the app can’t find this light and I was very excited that it had Bluetooth capabilities. I emailed customer support but couldn’t make much sense out of the response I got, likely due to language barrier. The Bluetooth is only a minor inconvenience though, I’ll likely be replacing the nicrew light on my small tank with one of these in the future
