Awesome peoduct
This pump/filter is awesome. I now have 2 in my 23 gal tank. They are quiet & can also be utilized for air bubbles as well. It is listed as a frequently returned item & I can’t understand why. it is the easiest filter that I have ever cleaned & works very efficiently. I cleaned them every 5 days & my tank is crystal clear.

SO FAR SO GOOD!
A week in and working great. Went to a local hardware store and got a small piece of tubing, that fits the nozzle so I can direct the water. I used a little drip valve from a drip watering system flow control. Much quieter when you reduce the air, you also get a better flow to reduce water surface tension. Stays exactly where I put it. Try and reduce the air flow! I turn it off at night and have a HOB on all the time. Drastically reducing HOB filter changes!

It wouldn’t start up
It simply refused to work from the moment I set it up. It also had no instructions at all. I had to return it the next day. If anyone else still wants to give it a try, physically installing was easy and the size is pretty modest compared to most filters. But I really don’t think it’s worth the time or money considering it didn’t function.

Easy installation and use.
Easy setup and installation. Easy to cleanup also, just pull the filter out and rinse.The instructions were useless, and no images on the box so check back to the original listing to see where to connect the clear tube with the plug on the end. Theres a rubber cap pointing upwards on the water outflow. Remove it and it attaches there.Good value for the money, the instructions could use some improvement.

Works well, strong air flow.
Does a good job but is top forceful for my axolotl tank. He sat in the corner looking like he was getting blasted by a fire hose for 12 hours until I took it out. Maybe better for a bigger tank or different creatures.

Exceptional cleanliness longevity for 20 gallon tank
I rarely come back to write a review without an added incentive like a coupon or something, but this filter is the best and deserves the boost! With the right food, my 20 gallon tank with 2 goldfish stays clean for a few months! The water evaporates faster than it gets dirty. The one caveat is that it is powerful so I set it up on the back glass blowing forward. When trying to aim it long, it over exerted my fish with a current.

Stopped working after 1 month and half
Its been a month and half and the air is no longer pumping I am going to have to buy a new filter cuz I just pasted the 30 return date I gave it a two because when it worked it was quite and went under water like I wanted just doesnât last

Perfect for River Fish!

I always appreciate reviews that show filters/bubblers ect in a fully planted tank because you can see the force of the blower on the greenery.**I can’t say enough great things about this pump**It is by far the QUIETEST tool in my 30gal tank- if you hear any mechanical noises in my video it’s probably my bubbler pump or waterfall filter because this pump is 100% silent. I sleep a few feet from my tanks so I can definitely attest to its whisper quiet quality. If you have a freshwater tank that is full of river fish or fish whose preffered environment is highly oxygenated and high flow water then this pump is perfect for you. As always, do your research and customize your tank to your fish family’s unique needs because this pump is NOT made for all types of fish and invertebrates. The filter media it comes with is a large cylindrical black aquarium sponge, easy to clean, easy to install. Since I have a main filtration system I don’t need to pack bio media in this pump but the canister is designed in such a way that you easily could stack bags of bio media if that is what your tank needs.***Another great use***of this product is as a tank cleaning filter. If you don’t want your main filter to get stuffed full of gunk during big tank clean days you can easily turn off your waterfall filter and plug this pump in and run it for 30 min while you clean. The high flow will clear up your water faster and you can just pop it out when you are done and clean/store it until your next tank scrub day.
