I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but this little barrier turned out to be amazing! I bought it to keep my floating plants from getting sucked into the filter, and it does the job perfectly. It adjusts to the water level just like it says, and I love how it stays in place without me having to constantly fix itIt’s been in my tank for a week now, and it’ss still looks brand new. The material is sturdy, and it doesn’t mess with the look of my aquarium at all. If anything, it makes it look cleaner and ore organized. My fish swim around it just fine, and my floaters have never looked healthier.I’ve tried DIY fixes before, but nothing worked this smoothly. This product saved me so much hassle and frustration. Works as described, it helps keep floating plants confined to an area or away from an area. Using in my 10 gallon and 20 gallon long the different sizes work well. Plenty of vertical movement durning water changes.

Great Product for Floating

Suction Cups Won’t Suction
I purchased style 3, which came with three barriers, and 6 brackets with suction cups.After installing this to the aquarium wall, the suction cups would come undone, causing the brackets to fall to the bottom of the aquarium as they do not float. The barrier floats and for the few minutes of having them, it seemed to work well against my floating plants, including duck weed. But since the suction cups always came undone, the barrier would then free float, rendering the product useless.It was easy to set up. It’s lightweight. And the space in the bracket is small enough to prevent the duck weeds from passing by.But since this suction cups won’t suction, the product is useless. I even tried warming the suction cups in hot water as another review let had mentioned l, but that also did not work.

Perfect solution for duck weed!
We love these! My daughter wanted to add more foliage to her tank but we wondered how we would feed the fish with all the duck weed, this is an excellent solution. Each piece comes with a small or large option for various size tanks. It functions just as it is supposed to and holds well to the tank. Super easy to put together. Perfect solution.

Faulty product.
This item does not self adjust as the water recedes. All my duckweed got sucked up into the skimmer.

Works great for the price! Excellent for keeping my duckweed contained! Soak the suction cups in hot water for a little bit first. This softens them up and they’ll stick better. Floats decent enough. And, unlike some some other products on Amazon, it came with enough suction cups and barriers.

Update: After 10 months the suction cups are finally failing, 3 out of 4 are no longer stickingThey keep all my floating plants where I want them. The suction cups are strong, haven’t had them fall off yet. great for keeping plants to one section of the tank or away from the filter. They work so well I ordered another set for my new tanks.

I received it a week ago. In theory it looked like it would work great going up/down during water changes. In reality the vacuum cup keeps on falling constantly and need to be reinstalled every second day. Also there is a small gap between the harm and the structure where plants will pass through. So⦠deceived.
