Nice value for low price
It works well. This product keeps my aquarium clean at a reasonable cost. Itâs comparable quality to other similar at a good price point. I cut what I need for an aqueon filter of various sizes. Lasts quite a long tolune.

Good substitute for expensive small engine air filter.
I use it for small engine air filter. So it works well and can make a lots of air filters out of this sponge pad. Only wish the pad was made evenly in thickness. May be I got a bad specimen here, the pad that I received is much thicker in the middle then the edge, may be it was made on Monday.But I get a life time supplies of sponge air filters.I choose the 50 PSI because it has much small pores which will be suitable to engine air filter, I do oil the foam with engine oil ( you should know it if you own a Lawnboy).

Cheap and Effective
Used this for a replacement filter media for a HOB that came with a giant charcoal pouch I didn’t want to use. This was the perfect height to replace that and not have a ton of wasted space in the filter. I wanted a larger mesh so I didn’t have to clean the media so frequently to avoid clogging up my filter, but it still works well to keep my water clean. It seems durable enough that I can use the same square for quite awhile, but the sheet was so large I’ll probably be set for the life of this aquarium.

Working Great for my Wybot Pool Cleaner
Very compressed for shipping, but clear expansion instructions and working great so far for my automatic pool cleaner (easy to cut to size). TIP: I got the finest filtering ones, so they filter VERY well, but the con is they plug more quickly (of course) and I have a rechargable battery powered, autodocking Wybot auto robo pool cleaner that doesn’t have enough thrust/water flow to make it up the wall to the dock if the filter is too plugged. I clean the filters (there’s a big basket main filter too) after each pool cleaning and it seems to be working well, but IF you get the finest of these foam filters and have issues, try the next least fine, which I believe is the type my cleaner originally came with.

microplastics
So i got the most porous filter. I am new to this material and ponds in general, but was going to be using this in an outdoor pond that overflows to an edible garden area.I washed according to manufacturers instructions. I noticed a lot of microplastic fibers shedding from the material and thought it would stop shedding eventually, but it just keeps endlessly shedding small pieces of plastic. (Maybe this is normal for this type of filter foam, and wouldn’t present problems in normal aquarium use?) I have rinsed it probably 50-70+ times now and the same amount of plastic bits keep being released. As this was to be used in a bog filter with circulating water agitating it, it would most likely continue shedding and be released into the environment.Maybe this doesn’t bother you, but I couldn’t knowingly pollute my garden/pond. The customer service is good and said this is normal for most filter floss, so i will just have to find a more sustainable product to replace this one.

Thin, clogs easily.
A little thin but it does expand, but clogs up easily. But they do give you enough to occasionally throw a piece out if needed.

Tolle Matte. Versand und Lieferung wie immer sehr gut. Matte selber kommt eingeschweiÃt und sehr dünn an. Hatte schon Angst die falsche Stärke bestellt zu haben. Die Matte muss nach den auspacken noch ins warme Wasser gelegt werden damit sie sich ausdehnt. Fazit: Klasse Produkt was ich jederzeit wieder bestellen würde.

After searching and reading many reviews I felt this brand/suppler had the better feedback. It seems all these foam pads come vacuum sealed and flat as a pancake (barely 1/2â thick)! I ordered the 47 x 47 x 4 cm, 35PPI, 1 Pack or 18âx18âx1.5â which would be a little thicker than I need but thought better in case it didnât fully expand. I read a few reviews of other ones that didnât fully expand.I followed the instructions to restore the size exactly. Filled my sink with hot water (105°F), immersed it and as it expanded I flipped the foam. Several times I gently pressed down on the foam to totally fill it with hot water. When fully expanded I drained it and immersed it in my bathtub with cold water. Then rolled up, gently wrung it out and laid flat to dry. PERFECT results. The finished size is actually 19âx20âx 1.5â. Extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend.

Arrived slightly larger than stated in description. This worked out great for me as I needed the slightly larger size. The course 20PPI works really well. I was worried it would start falling apart, but it is very well-made and has kept its shape well. It was very easy to cut and work into tight spaces. Cleaning is also very easy. I just wash it in used tank water so I donât kill the good bacteria.

I bought this for my 95L Kent marine tank, I have two large sponges in one of the chambers at the back, which are actually thicker than this foam, so I’ve just cut 3 bits to replace the old two. So far seems to work and I’ve only used a fraction of one of the large pads that are sent. They come vac-packed, so don’t be alarmed if the box is small. I found the best way to get the sponge to it’s original size was to fill the sink with hot water and lay it in, it takes seconds to do and your off sorting out ya tank.
