Reliable Sponge Filtration with Great Water Flow

Better filter than regular ones
It works really well. I have an African dwarf frog aquarium and I was unable to keep the water clear after feeding time. I used regular filters with no luck. I now use the sponge filter and the water in so much clearer. The filter has a finer filtering layer that filters out the smaller particles a regular filter doesn’t get.

Where have you been all my life?
I normally put together my own filter media, I’m very particular. I needed to order new floss and I come across this. Lately I have been too busy to go through the hassle. So I figured I will try it. I can always add to it if needed.Reminder I have been busy, I didn’t realize my fliter was clogged and causing the dirty water. I seriously thought my husband was over feeding again. I clean out my filter, toss in one of these pads and low and behold I wake up this morning and my water is clear.It is easy to cut to fit. It is thick enough to fit in my filter, and does a great job.

Cheap, Easy, Effective
I have been tired of expensive filters. This one allows me to get multiple uses at any size I need and effectively helps keep my tank clean. Instructions for use are straightforward. Incredibly cheap. Universal fit if you can cut.

The filter media is a great filter but it clogs on me in a few days on my large sump causing it to over flow and bypass my filtration system.

Fantastic addition to my filtration
Hey this was a great addition to my sump setup. I was able to replace my socks a whole lot less with this product. I put it on top of my sock tray and it catches all but the micro particles which now the socks used to. Consequently, my ultrafine polishing section before the return hardly ever gets changed now. Before it was a weekly sock and polishing pad replacement in my 180. I’ll be using this in all my tank filtration

Came in shink wrap , sponge how has to be soaked and then dried to return it to it shape and be able to use it , it does give instructions to do this , but does not say this when buying , a lot of messing around just to use a bit of glitter , will not be buying again

Bought these for my HOB Filters for the fish tank. And these are amazing. Super simple to cut to desired size then super easy to install. They filter very well and super easy to clean. Definitely Recommend this to anyone who has a HOB filter and doesnât wanna keep paying for new filters every 2months

Being a bit thick (talking about myself here and not the product!) I wasn’t sure which way the product was placed into Fluval U2! I sent question to manufacturers and I received an immediate response! They replied as follows: Hello, on the filter cotton, you can see that the blue side is coarser, while the white side is made of very fine fibers. Therefore, the normal filtration sequence is from coarse to fine. So if anyone else is confused, hope this helps!As for the actual product, it really is superb, I did actually place product in the correct way, my tank is crystal clear and will save so much money too as the Internal Filter Carbon Cartridge is no longer needed. When soaked in hot water it expands immensely and certainly has the filtration required. When cut to size and has expanded it’s a snug fit but is very very good! Strongly recommend!
