Very fine filtration.
This can’t be used for more than a couple days unless your water is already pristine. It will clear things up fast but it also clogs fast. I use it occasionally in an old marineland HOT magnum for water polishing but for every day I use sponge filters in my cannister and a layer of normal floss. Good stuff but specialty stuff.

Works well for our filter
I like this filter insert because you can cut it to the size you need and wash it. It saves money because you can reuse it and itâs really easy to wash out under running water. It is super easy to cut to custom size and instead into the filter. It lets the water flow very well and filtrates it very well too.

Good Material but Misleading Size and Flimsy for Intended Use
There is no volume to this product, is flimsy, and is not what you see pictured. Product is not 1 inch. Product will inflate slightly to about 3/8. You can fluff a pillow (filter) but when you lay on it (water) it flattens. I chose to keep this product due to the fact that its very good quality material and I could still use it, just not as I intended. I required hard material that acted as a filler (<-not a typo) to keep the 50 micron polishing pads in place to reduce filter bypass.

Sleeps water clean
I go through lots of filter material. I have a turtle habitat and they are dirty little animals. This product is thick and absorbs grime well. Cuts 3asy and sizing was a breeze. The folds are prefect cut lines. Quality made, no odor and is a great value. I will get 6 filter changes out of this. No complaints and would recommend th8s item.
