Pretty good filters just wish they were more available or came in bigger packs
Not a bad filter the activated carbon is very helpful and it easily slides in to the slot of the filter. Last pretty long too my last one went on for months with no problems but I changed it after I noticed the water stopped cleaning.

Good item for the price
Works as designed. May not be ideal for a tank with a lot of decor or substrate but it does the job. I am using it as a back up filter in my turtle tank. It would probably be able to keep up with a small tank with a few gallons of water by itself but the filter is not overly robust. It is not super easy to take the filter out to change but the device will come apart so the pump can even be cleaned, you just have to remember how to put it together again. It stays in place very well and looks fine in the tank, with normal filter noise.

donât buy it please. my turtle has a small tank and i thought this would be perfect for the water, WRONG. i cleaned his all the way out, his water was crystal clear. I placed the filter inside the tank, turned it on and everything was working. However.. the next day his water is all cloudy. the filter is doing nothing at all to keep his tank clean. itâs barely been 24 hours itâs been in there and it wonât work. i would love a refund or a product that actually works. 0/5

Not for small betta tanks!
I have a 1.5 Gallon betta fish tank, and it was way too strong for it. Also, I made the mistake of assuming that it wouldnât suck up the sand substrate that I have, but it most definitely did, which caused it to stop working. Iâve allowed it to dry out, and Iâve shaken it to get the sand out, but it still wonât turn on. This is great for a turtle tank for sure, but not for a 1.5 gallon betta tank. I will say though, I wouldnât consider it âultra quietâ, but itâs quiet. I could definitely hear it when I first plugged it in, but itâs a white noise sounding drone so it can blend into house noise very well depending on how loud your house is. For the amount of money, I do think itâs worth it only if you either have a much bigger tank than I do or itâs for a turtle tank.

Good for short term use
I got this less than a year ago. First filter worked fine after a while it stopped cleaning as well, so I bought replacement filters. When I changed the filter and but it back in the tank, it was not turning on anymore. I contacted the company and they gave me no explanation just sent me a new one. The new one worked fine until I changed the filter again and it stopped working completely. I contacted the brand again to see if I was doing something wrong. They told me changing the filter did not cause it to stop working, and gave me no solution. It claims it has a life time guarantee and when I asked to use it I never got a response.
