Works really well, fits my Aqua clear 70 perfectly, a lot less expensive than the Fluval version and does the same thing. Nice item.

Good for Betta Fish
This works well for our betta fish. We got a standard 10 gallon aquarium at Petsmart that comes with a filter. The current was too strong for the betta and this attached easily and fixed the problem. It has stayed on well, but works best if the aquarium is not filled all the way.

The filter that’s included floats, so the baffle always stays on top of the water no matter the water level! Perfectly diffuses the water no matter what the level is. I was able to crank up the power on my filter in my axolotl tank (they don’t like much water movement)

Doesn’t work for Tetra Whisper filters
This is a really neat design, and I bought the product as an attempt to replace the baffle I made from a plastic water bottle for my Beta’s Tetra Whisper filter. It, unfortunately, doesn’t clip onto the filter due to lack of a lip on the filter.

BEWARE – BLACK WATER
Iâm heartbroken. When I received this package, the product was open out of the bag and just in the box. I didnât think anything of it and rinsed it, sat it in a bowl for a bit and added it to my tank. After dinner with my parents I come home and my tank is BLACK. My koi betta is lethargic and gasping at the top of the tank. I added him to an emergency tank for now and Iâm hoping he lives. My tank is ruined and all the plants and time I invested are now affected as well. Iâm more than frustrated and hoping my betta pulls through.
