Originally was hesitant …
… but, ended up changing my mind and decided to give it a try. The original concern was that the cheap plastic zip-ties would not hold up for long and end up breaking. I did not overcome that issue – still waiting for long term results to see if the zip-ties will last. What changed my mind was the fact that all the other options I came across did not have any better solutions. They either lost suction or simply dried up, got brittle and broke – with the end result that the other solutions would not last more than one season (we run a seasonal marina). The plus on these is that the zip-tie can be tightened securely around the air hoses: a lot of the other options did not provide that capability.So, this is more of a lesser-of-the-evils choice – it is not perfect, but, offers more functionality than the other aquarium suction cups.

Small but mighty!
Iâm generally not a fan of suction cups, but I love these. I had to move my chameleon from a screen terrarium to a glass one. All the decor in the screen cage was held in place by florist wire, which is useless in a glass one, so I ordered these suction cups.NGL, I didnât pay attention to the size when I ordered them. I just needed them ASAP. They were smaller than I imagined, but thatâs on me. They worked though! They worked so well that instead of using the suction cups that came with some of my new decor, I replaced them with these. Itâs only been a few days, so I canât attest to their durability yet, but Iâm optimistic.
