TROUBLE SHOOTING INSTRUCTION:
1. Why does the wave pump not work right after being purchased?
In this case, it is the impeller shaft installed too tight, you can remove the impeller shaft and reinstall it, then it will run.
2. Why does the wave pump stop working after a period of time and what should be done?
The impeller of the wavemaker should be cleaned once a month, in this case, you can remove the impeller and clean it, reinstall the impeller and it will run normally.
3. Why is the noise of the wave pump loud?
(1) Check whether the wavemaker is completely submerged.
(2) Check whether the impeller is stuck, you can remove the impeller and clean it, reinstall and try again.
Please note, this wavemaker is supposed to work individually, it can’t work with timer or controller. If you add timer or controller to it, the wavemaker will run reversely, which can lead to the noise.

How to Install
First release the black latch before use
Second press the suction cup to squeeze the air out
At last pull the latch down to lock the sucker

360 ° Rotation
360° rotation flow directions make it easy to stir up debris towards the filter keeping them from settling at the bottom

Suction Cup
The locking suction cup attached to the wave maker will be more sturdy than the general suction cup

A great helper for aquarium enthusiasts
The aquarium wave maker can improve water circulation and increase the oxygen level of the water and creates water flow for fish to swim in. Suitable to use in freshwater, saltwater, aquatic and coral aquariums.

Customers say
Customers find the water pump to be a great budget powerhead that’s powerful enough for 70-gallon tanks and moves lots of water, with one customer noting it’s perfect for eliminating dead spots. The functionality and suction receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well and the suction is strong, others report it stops working after a while and have weak suction. The pump’s strength and resale time also get mixed reviews, with some finding it very strong while others say it’s too weak to use, and some units breaking within two months.

Good ð
These work very well, I only needed one but for the price why not.. just make sure to clean it every now and then so the suction stays working, I have slacked off and it fell but that was my fault. I would recommend them.

They are kinda bulky but really do the job.
I bought my first set a year ago and have just purchased my second set of these power heads to give my tank more flow. So a total of 4 in a 125 gallon.I have the 480 gallon size mostly because the design is bulky, they take up a lot of room. To reduce the space needed I have cut the stems on the mounting foot 3/8th of an inch. And I might find a way to mount them directly to the back wall.Other than that they have run without fault for a year and with 4 of them and smart plug or two I can get random flow patterns to happen much more cheaply than DC alternatives. V happy for the price

Runs in reverse when they get older.
Good deal, but now I find them running in reverse and have to plug them back in to make them run proper.

Works Great
They work great. Great water flow. I use it on a 100 gallon tank and it moves the water great.

Powerful
Very strong. A little to strong for my 30 gallon, but will save for my 125 when ready

One is noisy, both are strong, still cloudy
Came with zero instructions.I had experimented with both of the wave makers in the sink before putting them in the tank. I noticed one was noisy, and both did the reverse thing others mentioned, but mostly the noisy one. By noisy, I mean a persistent buzzing that’s too annoying to take all the time. When I first installed my Fluval 207 filter, the water was crystal clear until I went and cleaned the thing for the first time (it wasn’t broke, shouldn’t have fixed it). Ever since I’ve been trying everything I can think of to get that clear of water again. The water is not *super* cloudy, but it’s just not crystal clear like before.I have a 29 gallon tank with 3 largish fish. I added one of the wave makers to the tank (top above the intake) in hopes that it would do the trick given that they are intended for larger tanks. No luck. My fish were either delighted or slightly freaked out by the waves since they are strong. At least it gave them something new to do.Next day I added the second one to the bottom on the opposite side of the tank from the first wave maker. My fish did not realize it was hurricane season. At first I had the second wave maker positioned so that it acted as a leaf blower to the substrate rocks; it’s that powerful. It did stir up a bit of yuck that way, which the fish were happy to eat or attempt to eat. I angled the wave maker up a bit, but eventually got tired of the constant buzzing noise and unplugged it. I think my fish were happy about the unplugging, too, the second one was a bit much for them.To summarize:I’m glad I got the two pack so that at least one of them worked properly. They are very powerful and probably better for a larger tank (knew that going into it)Whatever my cloudy-ish water issue is, these didn’t fix the problem.

Perfect for my 30gal tank
Suction to glass was perfect, once you clip it on the glass you have like 1 minute to move it around easily before it really locks in place really firm. The flow generated by just one is perfect for stirring up the substrate from poop and other elements so the filter will pick them up, with the both creating the perfect circular movement it amazing now I donât need to really vacuum the sand, I have a 30gallon freshwater tank with 8 glow tetras and 8 zebra/leopard danios, with some live plants and a 700 plen plqx canister filter. When both power heads are one it does blow the fish around a bit but they can go with the flow and still looks happy I only turn these on like 2 times a week to keep things clean and only for an hour or two until everything stirs up and then get clean. They are quite as well. Good performance, suction is perfect and strong, and very small in size, perfect strong current water movements.

Too Many Issues
I am having the same issues many other reviewers are having. I bought 3 of these items and have used 2. When first installed, they were great…circulated the water and very quiet. I unplugged the unit when it was time to feed the fish. For whatever reason, when turned on again, the blades would run in reverse. If you unplug and replug, they worked fine again…maybe. The 1st unit stopped working so I replaced with a 2nd unit which again worked fine. After a few days, I just decided to plug in the 1st unit and it started to work again! The 2nd unit went thru the nonsense of running in reverse and it also stopped so I put back the 1st unit which worked but eventually was EXTREMELY noisy. Since the 2nd unit started working again (???), I put it back in and it became EXTREMELY noisy too. I’m afraid to use the 3rd unit figuring I would have the same issues. In summary, works great at the beginning but it’s all downhill afterwards. I do not endorse this item. Sorry.
