Great little filtet
Very easy to set up, and clean. This has been running nonstop for 3 days now with no issues. Quiet running. I have a mesh type bag on the bottom to prevent my fries getting caught in this filter. It does have a sponge filter in there which is easy to clean. I’m very happy with this so far.

Item is different from picture, the magnetic blocks barely stick together,and only comes with 1 castle top, canât even build a cube and pick it up with out half of it falling apart. –
Quiet and strong when the arm piece is off
Directions wasnât very clear about the extra pieces it came with to use as extra bubbler. Easy to take apart to clean.its quiet and works ok for my 45 gallon tank, I have it up to water level so it doesnât clean the bottom of the tank at all.

Very nicely done sponge filter
This sponge filter is really nice. I really like sponge filters because they donât eat the fry, they do a really good job of biological filtration, there really is nothing to break and you also get the air flow oxygenating the water as your filter. This one is exceptionally nice because you can add media in the box at the bottom. I like to put crushed coral in mine to keep the water from going acidicâ¦. This filter is not the course sponge but I like the fine sponge better. The only issue with the fine sponge is you need to clean it once in a while or it stops up. But the upside is you can pick it up and not have it dump all the waste right back in the tank, so cleaning is much easier. Plus, fine sponge does a better job filtering finer particles. Another upside of a sponge filter is simplicity. I just lost power when Ian came through. Media in canister filters and HOBs can become stagnant and when the power comes on they shoot some nastiness back into your tank. The canister filter had to be cleaned and set up again, the HOB actually stopped working and would not start up again. The sponge filters well, I didnât have to do anything and they just started right back up again. This filter also has a never clog air stone built in. Most sponge filters are great and this one is even better being an innovative design. And last but not least, I think it looks nice. Thumbs up on this filter.

Not working at all
It didnât work at allI even read the manual to see if I needed to do something else and still nothing, also opened it to see if thereâs something blocking also didnât come with the cleaning brush that it says it come with

Clever and effective design but too loud and too much vibration.
I purchased this for my 5-gallon “hospital aquarium” where I house new fish before adding them to my larger tank. I had a little BOT pump but it made too much noise and had to be primed again each time it was turned off for feeding. This pump is completely immersed, so it never has to be primed – you can just turn it on and off. It appears that you can employ the included spray bar as I do, or set the pump as a bubbler – but not both. The instructions are in pidgin English, reminiscent of earlier days when nobody in China spoke English. These days, half the population of China speaks better English than most of the kids in US schools. The included instructions are of little use except that the pictures can be used to figure out how to assemble and mount the unit. My pump did not work at all when I first plugged it in – not even a “buzz”. But the motionless impeller was visible through one of the ports. Guessing that it might merely be stuck, I pushed it lightly with a pencel and it commenced to work and has been reliable for the past several months. The height of the spray arm can be adjusted easily to optimize aeration. My only serious concerns are the noise and vibration it produces. The suction cups unfortunately do not isolate the pump from the tank effectively. I wonder if it will eventually stress or otherwise affect the fisn?

Easy Setup in 5 mins
Iâm an avid aquarium enthusiast of 30 years. Great internal filter. Itâs exactly what I was looking for since I have a power head on the other side of 70 gal aquarium. Great flow restrictor which can be set to various force on downspout water flow. Not sure why other reviews complained about noise. Itâs quiet as advertised. Didnât try the aerator that comes with purchase but Iâm sure itâs just as easy to use. Iâm happy and my fish are happy.

avec le nombre d’année d’experience que j’ai en aquariophilie et de nombreux filtres que j’ai essayer celui si est un des plus pire filtre que j’ai eu, Les eponge sont de mauvaise qualité n’ont jamais repris leur forme et ne sont pas assez porreuse aucune filtration biologique ne peut ce devlopper dans ce materiaux . le plastic tres mince casse a rien deja a l’ouverture lors du debalage yavais deja des languette de retenu deja cassé au niveau du capuchon a la base du tuyau de remonté j’ai voulu enlever la grille et une autre lamguette c’est cassé . Le comcepte est bon mais si ce filtre serais fait de materiaux de qualité et d’éponge plus poreuse ce serais un excelent filtre mais avec ce que j’ai entre les main c’est une des plus pire cochonnerie que j’ai acheté au cour des 30 derniere année ne depensé pas votre argent pour cet affaire là beaucoup trop chère pour que sa vaux réelement
