It pays to double check your pH!
The test strips I was using read between 6.2 to 6.8. I have hard water. This API kit says 7.8. Iâm so glad I havenât decided on the fish thatâll be living in this tank, and so glad I used this kit!

Perfect for Axolotl Tank
We have a 25 gallon long tank for our axolotl. Since the animal needs specific water parameters, we use this tester kit weekly to ensure we are keeping the water at correct levels. My 10 year old son has learned to do the testing himself, and he finds it simple to use. After our first 3 weeks, this tester kit revealed that we didn’t have enough ammonia to keep the bacteria cycle alive. So, we added a few goldfish and everything balanced out again. Our axolotl would have died if we hadn’t been testing the water.

Gracias al apoyo, asesorÃa y calidad, pude darme cuenta con este test que mi estanque nuevo tiene Amonia, sino me hubiera dado cuenta que tiene .50 ppm de amonia, mis peces de 17 años, pudieron haber muerto. Gracias por su apoyo, los recomiendo ampliamente.

Se recomienda ver los videos de su uso para una medicion correcta, leer bien el instructivo ya que cada medicion requiere distinta cantidad de gotas y un proceso distinto.

Me llegó un kit en forma de caja, diferente al que se muestra en la imagen, y por otro lado, estuve viendo videos y las muestras deben de venir selladas en mi kit llegaron 2 abiertas y parecÃan ya tener uso.
