Good hay net
These hold an entire bale of hay and hold up well for a long time. Worth the money. I have bought multiple and really like these.

Full size bale hay net!
This hay net is great quality, no knots and the material is strong but soft. They say it fits a square size bale but actually it fits a western size (100-110lb) as well. Iâve been using them 24/7 for several months and they hold up fantastic, my horses havenât damaged them at all. The only downsize is the cord being to short but for the price this would be 2x as much through other brands, especially the ones with no knots since those tend to be more expensive. I swapped the rope out for a longer one I got at my hardware store, and bought extra large cord locks, thread the rope through the net and through the cord lock so now i can easily open it to refill it, and donât have to bother tying a knot in the rope. With those improvements I LOVE this.

Fits a 3-wire bale easily
The netting seems durable & the bigger holes make it easy for my mule to snack. I don’t need to slow down his eating, but the net keeps him from dragging flakes out of his stall & wasting hay. This bag is easy to load and easy to tie up. It is roomy enough to slide over a 3-wire bale but snug enough that it sits flat against the hay. We’ll see how it lasts but I think it’ll be fine. Great hay net for the price.

Tough, soft, good size
This has been in use for about 2 months now and it has held up very very well with four horses. I fill it with a single 45-55 lb square bale; it’s like putting on a very stubborn pillow case. I don’t cut the strings until after it is in the bag and in my feeder. The biggest issue I had was the rope provided to close it was only 5 feet in length and I had replace that with something longer. The other minor problem is the tougher support rope around the opening just has the netting woven around it, so however my horses are tugging on it they cinch the top closed and every so often I have to work it open more again. I clip it into a (previously leaking) 100 gallon Rubbermaid trough using carabineer clips on hitching rings.

Very Nice Hay Net. Only One Complaintâ¦.
This hay net is soft and durable and very easy to fill. The only thing I have against it are the size of the holes. They are too small for a regular size horse not to become frustrated by the hole size. When the hay net is bursting full it is okay and the hay pokes out, but when it ceases to be really full it seems it is nearly impossible for any horse to work the hay out through the holes and they give up. Itâs a shame because it would be so great to be able to go away for a night in decent weather without my horses running out of hay, but this is still a problem for me, because the horses get frustrated and finally give up. One of my horses is a complete porker and would eat until she exploded if she could and even she gives up.I love that the hay net is safe and not made of a tear proof nylon so that it wouldnât rip, if needed. Itâs very soft and safe. I would recommend to make the weave bigger, perhaps 3â holes. As far as all the complaints about the rope being open endedâ¦. Itâs plenty long. For Heavenâs sake! Just tie a square knot in the rope and suddenly, itâs a circle! Magic! It tastes 30 seconds to weave the rope through and it ties easily. That is not a problem. Iâm not sure if itâs possible to enlarge the weave, but it does hold a a good size rectangle bale of hay without a a problem- 37-50 pounds. I drop the bale in from the end with the net gathered like one does putting on panty hose, on the ground, and then pull it up, tie the top, place it where I want it and then cut the bale ties. Works like a charm. Be careful if your horses have front shoes on if you leave this on the ground. They could tangle, but this net will tear if under duress. Just based off the soft weave it is made of, unlike nylon nets. It can also be hung by chains. Would work well in a trough feeder if you donât have enough horses to eat a round bale without waste or bad weather.Still trying to figure this out, but the price point canât be beat and itâs a very well made hay net.I hope the makers of this net change the weave size to accommodate horses with regular size muzzles and lips because this is the only issue, but itâs a pretty big one and it should be easy to fix.Thumbs up on this product, especially for mini horses.

Fits a whole bale.
Works great and plenty of room for a small bale. Have used it on everything from 65 lb bales all the way up to 120 lb bales. I use the 1″ holes for my greediest fatties that can get fat on air. Love the soft knotless holes.

Garbage
I bought these since they looked like nice and affordable knot-less nets, similar to name brands. These are garbage and I regret every one I have bought. Originally I bought a couple and within a month or so, tied up a few holes in them, but didn’t think much of it. A little while later I did another order, against better judgment. I had five in use. Let me tell you, I was tying up a hole essentially every day. I have used an entire roll of twine, plus more, trying to plug the dam. They have poor seam quality and the thread thickness of the net just isn’t sufficient. Name brands have reports of multiple years of use, but if you want something more than temporary, spend a little more and get something that lasts. Today I hacked them off all my frames and threw them in the trash.

Great hay nets
These have been a life saver! The hay loss is so much less, the horses don’t rush through the hay. It has especially helped in the winter , we put one bale in each bag a day and it lasts for 24 hours for 2 horses

Been using these for several months now. My horses are pretty rough on their hay nets… They pull the entire netted hay bale out of the feed tub and drag it all over their paddock. Despite my rowdy horses, these nets are still in great shape! The nice soft netting makes it easy to fill, and I think that’s why it’s more durable than the stiffer rope nets you can get. They are also 1/3 the price of the full bale sized nets that my local feed stores sell.I recommend these nets to all my horse owning friends and if mine ever wear out or need replacing, I would definitely buy this brand again.

Besonders gefällt mir die Beschaffenheit dieses Netzes. Es besteht nicht, so wie die meisten anderen Netze, aus Plastik, sondern ist schön weich. Unsere Pferde nehmen es gut an. Absolute Empfehlung!
