Customers say
Customers find the clipper easy to use and appreciate its ultra-quiet operation and value for money, noting it saves on grooming costs. Moreover, the quality receives positive feedback, with one customer describing it as a professional-grade tool. However, the functionality, cut quality, heat level, and durability show mixed results – while some say it works well and cuts through hair like butter, others report it stops working unexpectedly, doesn’t cut well, heats up quickly, and breaks after limited use.

Great Pet Grooming Clipper â Works Perfectly Despite My Initial Worries
Works Perfectly Despite My Initial WorriesI was honestly a bit scared to buy this clipper because I had read several reviews saying it sometimes didnât turn on or stopped working quickly. But fortunately, mine worked perfectly right out of the box and has continued to perform great! The clipper is quiet and powerful, which is a huge plus because my dog gets nervous with loud noises. It glides smoothly through thick fur without pulling or getting stuck.

A game changer!
Holy crap! What a product! I was using a better than average clipper on my dogs (Shih Tzu and Malti-Shi mix) for their trims and they looked good. It was âcordlessâ but didnât really clip well cordless. After reviewing a lot of clippers and watching a great groomer on YouTube, I decided to find an affordable Andis. Now this product didnât have a few things she recommended. She recommended 2-speed. This is 1 speed, which I knew. The one Andis brand she recommended was a little lighter, this one is a little heavy. But itâs a monster. My dogs have HAIR, NOT FUR. This made their hair trims a breeze!Pros:It feels like a real piece of equipment. You know youâre using something sturdy.Itâs quieter than the cheap brands from Walmart etc..Cord is thick enough itâs not going to kink up. Cord is also decent length.Itâs super cute in purple. ðComes with the most used 4 hair length cutting guards. More than enough for most cuts.Cons:Itâs heavier than some. If you have carpal tunnel or arthritis I can see this being too heavy for you.It gets HOT if youâre using it for a long time. If you have the guards on it the dog wonât get burned but youâll feel it getting warm in your hand. Probably time to take a break and let it cool down.Overall for this price point itâs worth it. I wasnât ready to commit to a $300-$400 model. Iâm not a pro groomer, I just do my dogs and a few friendsâ dogs. Definitely worth the investment. I use this and the other 2 trimmers I have for the dogs.

They work well and I would recommend them.
I purchased these Andis clippers cuz I have to shave my dog in the summers and no groomers in my area had openings soon enough. I have a 100 lb German Shepherd, and b4 any of u get all judgy – shaving him is necessary in the summers cuz if we don’t he gets covered in wounds from yeast infections. HE HAS A VERY VERY THICK COAT. No air can get to his skin anywhere. He loves his haircuts, too. And his vet approved it.Back to the review: These clippers worked well overall, I think. Shaving him took me about 6 hours, which I broke up into 3 different sessions. Not sure if his ridiculously thick coat had anything to do with it, but it was also my first time shaving a dog EVER. I’m sure I can get the time way down with some practice. The clippers were comfortable in my hand. Once I could get under the hair, they cut like a knife thru soft butter. But getting them under his coat enough for them to cut well was tricky. I discovered rocking them forward and backward helped. I did have to wipe the hair out with the brush and spray them down every 15 seconds to help keep them lubed and cool. I used Andis Cool Care clipper spray. They performed fantastically since each session was 2 hrs-ish. They never got too warm to hold and never gave out. They have pretty much already paid for themselves cuz my dog’s cuts run about $85. They weren’t too loud either. If u have a dog with a more manageable coat, these will work wonderfully. They r strong, not super loud, and they plug in… so u never lose power. You will definitely need some way to keep the blades cool while trimming so use a clipper spray designed for cooling and lubricating, or buy a few blades of the same size and change em out every few minutes like the pros do.I also needed a better brush to get the hair outta the blades. Luckily I had one from another clipper set. If ur doing a bigger dog, or one with a thicker coat, u may wanna save and old toothbrush or something cuz the little tiny blade brush that came in the kit was beat to hell with in the first 30 minutes. The guards worked nicely too. Made it easy to fade his shave upto his head and tail, which I didn’t cut at all. It’s cute cuz he looks like 100 lb albino fox.I rated these 4 stars cuz I’m not sure if it was my technique and newb-ness that caused the overall cut to take 6 hours, or if it is due to the clippers. He will receive 1 to 2 more haircuts this year and I will adjust this review accordingly. The clippers would have a solid 5 stars if I can get the cut down to a couple hours.

My miniature schnauzer looks great!
These clippers work great and have detachable blades so you can swap out the blade size to get the correct length cut. I would recommend getting a clipper with this feature because if you want to groom at home long term they will pay off and are a great investment. These come with a standard size 10 blade that is sharp and works on my schnauzer great. I prefer having detachable blades over the clip on attachments because they cut closer to the skin and produce a cleaner cut. With the detachable blades you can switch to different size blades quickly throughout the grooming session so you’ll get that professional quality look.We used to use an Oster with the clip ons but those cut horribly and never gave a clean, even cut. I’m so glad I switched over to the Andis because now I’m able to have an array of different blades. The blade does get quite hot after about 5-10 minutes of constant use so I do recommend frequently lubricating or buying a blade coolant spray, which Amazon carries. The Andis clippers are not any louder than any other brand you would get and my dog tolerates it well on her body and legs. She does hate it however when we clip her ears and head area so we are thinking of picking up a pair of mini clippers to accommodate this one.I recommend these clippers for someone looking to start grooming at home. The size 10 blade is sharp, you can detach and switch the blades, and the clippers have a strong motor. They also come in a nice sturdy hard box with a set of clip ons, oil, and manual. It did not come with a small brush to clean the blade, which was a bummer. If you have the time you can always watch grooming videos by Andis online or other channels and they show great tips to groom specific breeds. Have gotten many compliments on my dog’s haircut so far so I’m satisfied with my purchase! The only cons are that it does get hot and is corded for those who need wireless.

I bought this clipper to replace my worn out KM2 Wahl clipper which I really liked and thought I’d never find another clipper as great but this one comes in as very close to as good! I had bought an Oster clipper but just don’t like it at all. I would definitely buy this again! I have a small dog kennel with Cocker Spaniels and Miniature poodles and this clipper and blade do an amazingly great job with very little effort. It also runs very quiet, like maybe a quarter the noise of the Oster machine! Three cheers to this clipper!

O produto está funcionando corretamente e os itens da caixa vieram sem problemas, com exceção da lâmina 10, que chegou com aspecto de oxidada.

Always bought Andis for my dogs and these ones heated up so quick just after 5mins use. Think of just returning and getting dearer ones

I have a large (90lb) dog that has great pyrenees in him, this trimmer is able to make short work of his long and thick hair.It also runs quite cool, and is quiet, at least for a razor.
