I had the house professionally cleaned before we moved in and then I did more deep cleaning as we unpacked and filled closets and such. Even after all the cleaning, there was still an old house stench that just wouldnât go away in a couple areas of the house. I didnât even want to put anything in the bathroom linen closet because the smell was so overpowering. It was a musty, old house smell. So, I consulted Amazon reviews and came across this product. I bought just one to try in the linen closet. After maybe a week, there was a noticeable difference. The smell was still there, but much less intense. It has been months now and the smell is completely gone. Amazing. I finally threw it away about a week ago and the smell has not returned. I thought it was a long shot to use this product to fix the smell in an entire basement, but worth a shot. The basement includes my kidsâ bedroom, play room, storage room and bathroom. I was so frustrated because the smell made it feel dirty to me even though I had done everything I knew how to do to remedy it, including painting walls and having carpet professionally cleaned. I bought 6 of these-1 for each room except the large storage room which has 2. Guess what. After TWO DAYS, the smell is almost completely gone. My husband is always making fun of what I buy and rolling his eyes at my hopefulness and I made a believer out of him. He is so impressed. Also, there is no replacement scent. There is just NO SMELL now which is exactly what I wanted. Iâm not a febreeze-cover-up-the-smell-with-another- overpowering-smell-kind-of-girl. Iâm not being paid to say any of this and I can count the number of reviews I have written over 10 years on 1 hand. These things are just that good. Buy them now. You wonât be disappointed. Really helps smells but can be tricky
So I have this in my subscribe and save to come monthly and keep one in a room that has a weird musty smell along with a dehumidifier. It is the first thing to actually get rid of the smell but it does dry out monthly (probably the dehumidifier) so Iâm replacing it monthly. Itâs a bit tricky though, I wasted the first couple thinking they were used up because the top was all dry but the air couldnât get to the bottom. If you take the inside part out and flip it over it lasts a lot longer. I do feel like itâs a lot of plastic waste every time just for a new squishy inside. The product works well. The cost is fair. But I wish there were a refill option. Thatâs the only reason for a star removal. Pictures of different levels of used up (dried out) attached.

Smells nice few weeks, then…
Smells wonderful, but the smell doesnt last. Placed 2 in our basement. We were thrilled at first, then the nice smell Deminished in about 2 weeks. After 3-4 weeks forgot they were installed. Gel looks fine (not dried) with moisture content.

Amazing product
Wow! This project works so well. We bought a used RV and could not get the smell out of this underneath compartment no matter how much I cleaned it. This project reduced the smell very quickly and over time it has totally eliminated the smell. Will buy again if needed!

SOOOOOO GOOD!
Used in litter box room upstairs where there was always a slight smell even with cleaning twice a day!!Put it in this morning and checked back an hour or so later…no smell! Pleasantly surprised is an understatement.Will be ordering more for the rest of the house too.

I love these things! I prefer the unscented, but the lavender scent isnât too overpowering. I am the only woman in a house full of boys, men, and animals. These work wonders to eliminate odors in every place I put them. They are a great price, and last a long time!

It Works!
It took a couple days but the stinky shoe closet that I placed this in now smells like NOTHING, which is what I wanted. It worked great! Suggestion, put as low in space as possible because up high did not work well.
