Great for older chicks!
This was a great product for my chicks as I wean them outside, the only thing I would caution is if thereâs still a need for a heat lamp. Since the material seems flammable, if youâre using it for chicks I would recommend waiting until theyâre not dependent on the heat lamp, otherwise it works great! Itâs so much easier to clean, lightweight, and itâll store effortlessly until I get more chicks.

Great for Small Pets
This worked perfectly for a new batch of baby chickens for the first couple months of life. The size makes it perfect for any area and the multiple access points from the top and the side made cleaning and moving a lot easier.

Works well, but a little hard to fold back up.
Bought this as a temporary enclosure for our ferrets to play while moving cross country. Works well for the intended purpose. It’s a little difficult to fold up but once you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad. Folds up nice and small. Unfortunately on of the bits of metal snapped after using it a few times but it still works regardless. The one thing I would have really liked is a pad that could fit in the bottom with a rim around it to catch any accidents that I could take out and throw in the wash. I did see a couple after market versions that could work, but it would be nice to just buy them together as one unit that way I would know it’s the right size and works together. All in all a really cool idea for small pets that you want to keep contained so they don’t get hurt or lost but still give them extra room to run and play.

Very light duty
Normally I write much longer reviews but Iâm going to make this one short and simple. It looks exactly as the described, is very bendable material, very thin mesh but breathable, be gentle on the zipper itâs very light duty. This thing folds up small enough to fit I a childâs backpack if done right. It functions as described good for small animals like guinea pigs and parakeets. This one is a little too small to house a full grown rabbit comfortably. For baby rabbits it works, for large rabbits itâs going to be iffy. Cats, by all means they are going to need much more play space. I have a full grown bearded dragon and even with her this is too small I use a 24 in tall by 5 feet around zip up pay time tent for her, if you have small birds or guinea pigs this is a good space saving play area and light duty

Great idea but lacking in some features
I got this for my 2 guinea pigs and it works very well for when they need some outside the cage time. It is large enough for the both of them to run around easily. I got the zippered top which is great to keep my other animals from jumping in, but does present a bit of a pain to try and unzip. There is no zipper holder and the zipper feature itself is super thin and mine already has some separating on the one end. If the zipper breaks I won’t be able to use it. I wish there was a velcro or something at the top that you could roll the zipper top onto while pulling the animals in and out. It just falls into the cage area where it is likely to get ripped. The mesh itself on the sides is very easy to rip if you’re not careful and I worry a bit about the guinea pigs nails catching on it or the cats scratching at it from the outside. The other problem with the top is that the hole is right in the middle of the pen. This makes it hard when you want to just turn it upside down outside or in a garbage can to get all the animal poo out. It would be easier to do that instead of getting on my knees and bending over to clean the inside each time. The fabric is lightweight and I loved it came in a little bag. I have had no issues with chewing from my animals, but agree with other comments that this material will definitely be chewed through quickly. Unfortunately I was most disappointed with the “waterproof” claim, it is not. I clean the pen everytime the guinea pigs are in it because the pee soaks right into the fabric, although there is some that sits on top that I can just soak up with a paper towel. I would say the material is more like water resistant jackets where the first few drops of rain bead off, but then you get soaked. This product is easy to clean, I can just throw it outside and hose it off and let it air dry (although remember about the circle opening at the top, getting any debris or large pieces of anything out is a challenge). It is easily portable, I can move it from one room to the next. For the most part is has sufficed for what I bought it for, but am worried on how long is will really last. I’d love to see some more improvements to indoor/outdoor small animal enclosures.Update November 2020-zipper on top came off as I suspected it might and one guinea pig did end up biting a piece of the netting on the side which created a hole that soon spread. This only last 2 full months for me, I’ll be looking for something more durable next time.

Horrible. The chicks clearly peck things.. as they were pecking they pulled out multiple strings in which they got themselves wrapped up in. This cause my chickens stress and multiple lacerations. If you are getting chicks DO NOT GET THIS

Perfect
This is the perfect size for two smaller animals or one larger bunny. My guy loves being outside with this. Easy to clean , I just used the hose and rinsed it out when he went to the bathroom in it. Doesnât fold up too easily and the instructions are terrible but I eventually figured out how to fold it and put it away easily. I would highly recommend for somebody with a camper or somebody that likes to spend a lot of time outside with their animals.

Perfect for chickens!
I needed something to act as a brooder in my garage for my 13 chickens and these (I ordered 2) worked PERFECTLY!!! It also helped them get used to each other because the top is mesh and they could see each other. All I added was pine shavings and it never soaked through and stained my concrete. I kept the chickens in them for almost 6-8 weeks until it was warm enough outside. You could use these inside but I would recommend a pad to protect your floors. Dust was minimal but my garage is pretty large.
