Nice replacement pump for Mazzarelli unit
Had a fountain that I run always during the day that failed. This was a drop in replacement, and I liked the adjustability of the unit so that I don’t get splashing. Pump seems to work well and is more durable. Not sure about cleaning yet. Flow rate adjustable and a good fit and overall value

Shocking results
I never got a chance to use this item properly to write a review on how it works. When it arrived I immediately put in in my 40 gal tank to run my small trickle filter. I plugged it up and reached my hand into the water and got the shock of my life. I unplugged it and took it out and there were bare wires showing where the cord went into the pump. I’m not saying it’s a bad product I just didn’t have the best experience with it. Please check all wires before installing. YOU DO NOT WANT TO STICK YOU’RE ARM IN A TANK WITH A LIVE BARE WIRE TRUST ME!!!

Weak pump
Unfortunately I did not return the pump in time to get a refund. I needed a small pump for a water fountain but this pump did not have much power and it didn’t do much for my water fountain.

Works good and pretty quiet.
Works great honestly. Ended up switching my setup anyways and now use this as a little water exchanger for a fish tank. But this thing pumped pretty good and was no louder than your average, quiet aquarium filter/pump
