Tortoise Habitat
I have six baby tortoises that have been in this for one year since their birth. Very sturdy and pretty easy to put together the only difficult part for me was holding onto the Monkey Rench tool.

Good house for the price
We bought two to attach together. It’s very light weight fir wood that isn’t sealed well so I do worry about longevity a bit but it looks nice. It had a strong odor when it arrived so we built it and let it air out outside for two days, set it up, and my tortoise loves it. I give it 5 stars since it’s a cheap option, easily built, and roomy. The latches were super thin and cheap so I didn’t install them but other than feeling cheaply made it’s fantastic, but it’s also cheap for this size enclosure so I feel quality and price even out. I definitely won’t buy another if it goes over $120 unless quality increases and it’s better sealed.

Okay, full disclosure, I did not buy this for a tortoise, lizard, or anything that slithers. I bought this to raise chickens. And turkeys. And a peacock. And let me tell you: this habitat slays as a brooder.Iâve tried all the âpoultry-specificâ brooders, pens, you name it, and not only do they cost $200+ for something that looks like it was made from repurposed disappointment, but most of them require me (a grown adult woman, 4â10â on a good day) to lean so far over the sides I risk swan diving straight into a pile of fresh chicken poop. Ask me how I know. ð This setup? A pure dream. I was able to put this entire pen together in less than 30 min. Which made me love it even more. The build quality is great, and a month in and over 50 chicks through the brooder already! The pen is very sturdy and both sides of the top lifts open, the lamp side is the perfect height, itâs easy to clean, warm enough to keep the babies cozy without roasting them, and the enclosed area gives them room to cool off if they get too toasty. Basically, itâs the bougie chicken nursery I never knew I needed.Iâve already got another one in my cart. If youâre a fellow backyard farm weirdo looking for a smart, affordable brooder option that doesnât require a tetanus shot, rocket science, or yoga-level flexibility, this is it.Turtles, take a seat. This oneâs for the birds. ð£

Good painted cedar enclosure for young tortoise.
Great outdoor enclosure for the price for a young tortoise. I like that you can connect two to make a longer enclosure. It is cedar and was easy to put together. I wish the wrap on the clear plastic panels were easier to get off, or you could somehow receive these panels pre-assembly so you could fully remove the protective wrap. All in all, I’m happy with the purchase. It would be hard to DIY something as affordable.

I bought this originally for my two guinea pigs before I knew I would be getting a tortoise.This would have been âokâ for my guinea pigs, a little snug but they get a lot of floor time.But this is about my tortoise! I have a Russian tortoise, and this works for him amazingly.The only thing I would do to improve this cage is add silicone around where the base meets the walls. Dirt WILL fall through even as tight as you can get it!I did have to do not put the screw too far in the back to the window side. It started to split the side.Other than that this is AMAZING.It was packaged beautifully, and no pieces arrived damaged. However I would have preferred the glass had some sort of protection they were scratched upon arrival (must have been scratched prior to shipping)My tortoise so far likes his new home, although this most likely will not work long term itâs working for him for now. The windows are a huge plus, my shih tzu is very into all of our animals and she loves being able to peek in at him.The biggest plus is it was SO EASY to put together. Dowels came already added, all it needed was a couple screws and I put to together by myself with only a screw driver in about 20 minutes.(Note he was unexpected so I have the proper UVB and decor ordered and they will be arriving soon!) rest assured heâs in good hands. 🙂

You get what you pay for, 99 pound, yes the wood is little flimsy, but also, so easy to build, the bottom is now a plastic tray, great touch for the moisture in soil and the water etc. So easy to build, even though they sent me 2 part A sides! So I got creative and its perfect. By babies love it and it’s great indoors and outside when hotter. And when they need separation I will buy another one and add it on.

Was easy and quick to assemble, sturdy and good value for the money. It did have a strong cedar smell to it when it came out of the box but aired out pretty quickly. I took the divider out as my guy wanted nothing to do with the dark scary cave and it gives more floor space and visibility anyway. The arm is easy to adjust for lighting and swivels which helps when opening and closing the top. Good size for babies!

Was very hopeful. Looked like a great enclosure and had high hopes for it based on all the wonderful reviews. Howerever, mine arrived with multiple places with damage upon opening (as seen in photos) and a VERY strong chemical odor. Will have to be put outside and hope that it off gasses a bit and will need to be resealed and painted I think before it would be safe for an animal. Less than impressed.

Was easy to assemble and the perfect size, I was very happy with the option to combine two together. The wood was soft and light enough to screw parts together as needed with little issue. The downside is that the soft material did cause some damage to the enclosure as a whole while assembling, but that was easy to fix. Adding or modifying everything was relatively simple thanks to that but donât be surprised if thereâs a crack to fill or an extra screw for the best structure. Overall happy with the size design and simplicity but the soft material makes it a bit fragile.
