Life Saver!
I wear my hair natural so I have a challenge when I take it down from any style and prep for shampoo. This is a life saver! I slap it on and work it through and in addition to my detangling brush my hair is good to go for a shampoo. I was using this before I got my detangle brush and it was good. Now, it is even better. And my scalp feels wonder when getting all that mess that is hidden under the braids after not being able to comb through it. The fragrance is nice as well.

This is awesome for tangled hair
I am African-American and my hair is natural and very tangled. This works really good with decreasing the amount of tangles in my hair. I will probably be able to retain more of my length now that I don’t have to pull half my new growth out with the tangles. I will buy this product again. I use it after I wash & condition my hair while my hair is still wet then I style my hair as usual and leave the product in until I wash my hair again.

Made it easier to take down the braids.
This is my honest review, the substance feels like a lubricant but not as sticky. It made it easier to take down my weave braids because it gave the hair a slippery feeling. Itâs very wet, almost watery so I recommend adding water after the substance sits in the hair a little bit. Comb from the ends down and work your way up. Iâm giving it a four because I think it helped taking down the braids easier, and made the dead hair slip out quicker. But I still had knots from it being too wet I think because this substance texture is like a a lubricant, and not like an oil. Maybe I used too much, so Iâd recommend using less and adding a little water to moisturize.My braids were three months old, so my hair was very thick. Have an excellent shampoo to cleanse this stuff out. Moisture was great, and ease with getting braid out were the best part.

Best hair product!
This product is AMAZING! It has coconut oil, coconut milk, and castor oil. It is great for breaking up the dirt and debris that builds up from protective styles like oil, product, etc. It makes the hair soft and manageable before washing after having brsids, twists, etc. It smells great, too!

Amazing product, but not Amazing price
The only reason I donât give this product 5 stars is because of the ridiculous price increase from $6.75 to $21. I bought this product 3 times and loved it, I was coming back to buy it again and once I saw the price spike I couldnât get myself to purchase it again. The good thing I liked was it was reasonably priced and did the job, I can understand it becoming $9, but $21 is crazy. Now Iâm on the hunt for another reasonably priced detangler that works.

this got some serious damage out of my kids’ covid bedheads. things went south on the kids’ haircare routines when we got covid at our house and i was D R E A D I N G dealing with the knots and matting that we had to deal with because nothing prepares you for that part of motherhood, nothing. i thought i was going to have to give serious haircuts and i was heartbroken that their beautiful curls had turned enemy. thank god i found this product and trusted some of the reviews i read. we were able to undo a lot of damage and get their curls back into beautiful condition by using this as a detangler as we combed through.

This is what you need to take down your hair from a weave
I had my weave ok for 7 months. Matted and tangled to no end. I start by slabbing globs into each section and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then I begin to take down the braids while adding additional product as I go. This stuff saved me from chopping off all my hair in frustration. Make sure you use a bone brush or something sturdy to comb thru

Creates Knots & Rips out hair!
This is the worst product I have ever used in my hair! I found this and thought it would be great to help take down my braids, but this is the WORST experience I have ever had with a product that was supposed to be specifically designed to help with unbraiding hair! You know those little boweevel things of hair and fuzz that sometimes accumulate at the base of the braid, this product actually creates them! Out of nowhere! I felt through my hair and did not feel bit maybe three or four so I applied some more of the product thinking it would help and it literally clumped my hair and formed huge knots and the disaster began! I truly believe it ripped my hair out! Do NOT buy this if itâs the last product on the shelf!

I was a bit skeptical about it, but after using it to take out my 5-week cornrows yesterday, I am definitely a believer!My braids were removed so easily with minimal hair loss. It’s a bit expensive though but for the quality I think it’s okay.

Although this is recommended as a mask I use this as a stay in product. This is the best thing Iâve found to keep my curls together without frizz. I have tried numerous products for my Afro hair and this is the best one. It doesnât make your hair greasy or sticky either.
